Solar Power POWER
Wanted cute lights to go around my camper but didn’t want another thing to have to charge. These power up great in the sun and I love the timer detail. Just don’t lose the remote!

Awesome addition to camping gear!
This solar camping light is awesome and a great deal for the current price of $19.99. There's so much to love about it and I only have 1 thing that I don't love and 1 wish, so I'll just start with those things.Con: The remote is disappointing. It does not work from very far away and the angle had to be "just so" to get it to work. In my recent camp setup it was really not any better than just walking over and turning on the light with the button on the unit. The remote is really only useful for changing lighting modes and setting the timer function, which is definitely something, so you can't just completely ditch the remote. Just don't think that you are going to be standing at any distance using the remote to turn the lights on and off unless you are very lucky and all the stars align.Wish: Since turning on the lights isn't usually as easy as pressing the button on the remote, I find myself wishing these had an auto-on feature tied in with the timer like some other lights I have where the lights can turn on at the same time every day. With both of those things said, I love these lights and am giving 5 stars. The versatility of this 1 little camping light is pretty amazing. Here are some of the things I love about it:1. Charges via USB and solar - The solar charging is handy when you have your lights already in place at a campsite and the USB charging lets me have it charged and ready to go on day 1.2. Just enough light and pleasing to the eye - The warm white mini lights give just enough glow to gently illuminate around them. I recently used them to help light some stairs in a campsite. It gives enough light to be useful and also decorative, without being gaudy or something that will make the campground hate you. The main light has different levels of brightness. This whole setup was very helpful for late night dog outings. I also love that the light has a red emergency flasher mode. Hopefully we won't ever need it, but it's always good to have an extra and very visible marker for any side of the road breakdowns.3. Ease of set-up, tear-down - I could not love the reel function more. The mini lights are so easy to set up and to put away. Just a quick turn of the crank and the lights are neatly stored away. The end of the mini lights has a little clip that lets you very easily loop them around an object and secure back onto itself and the main light has a fold out handle/hook. It literally could not be easier to set these up and take them down. No muss, no tangles, no fuss, and super compact for being able to store.4. And more? - I haven't tried using them to charge my phone yet as that isn't something I really will use much, but it's an awesome feature to have if you are doing more off-grid camping than I intend to do. I don't expect it should be your go-to battery bank, but in a pinch, it's always good to have another power source, especially one that can recharge via solar.Hopefully the waterproofing as is a good as they say to help withstand a bit of rain. Hopefully these will last for awhile. At this price point, if they last a couple of years, I'll be very satisfied.

These are a great camping string light model. Very useful for lots of things.
These are super useful little light units. I ordered a few of them after I saw how useful they are.I keep one charged in my car ready to go anytime for emergencies. The camping and string lights are great for setting up a social setting somewhere suddenly or for cordoning off a campsite.Be gentle when you wind them up and other than that they're super durable.I've even used it inside at a friends music room to make it more fun one night we were jamming because he didn't have any cool lights. Went out to my car like, "I got some string lights hold on."It has a bright warm flood lamp on one side and a super bright XRE chip on the other side that is easily bright enough to be a useful shop light or work light under your car in an emergency.Being able to use the string lights and the warm flood and popping the magnets to the side of the car is a winner. You can turn anywhere into a fully lit mini party in like 30 seconds after you pull up.

Clutch Camping Gear
One of the more convenient items I've ever had for camping with friends. it's magnetic so I can attach it to the car while we're setting up tents in the windy evening or use the built in hook to provide light in the tent. In the late evenings, we unwound the lights within to have a little bit of overhead lighting. While they don't provide a ton of light, it's nice to just be able to see without having to shine a flashlight every which direction.

This is one of those rare products that is better than I thought it would be
I ordered several different wind-up string lights this summer, including these warm white ones by Sumaote. This model is my favorite. Here are the things I like about it:-– The white color is perfect. It’s not glaring… it’s a lovely warm white. Comfortable and cozy and calm.— The pop-up handle for cranking the string back inside is very handy. I have another wind-up string light that doesn’t have this, so I really appreciate this feature.— The solar panel picks up enough light to illuminate the “charging” light even while indoors. I plan to store these indoors with the solar panel facing up, so that a tiny bit of power will be going into the battery every day.– Solar charging means that we’ll always have light at night, even during extended power outages.– The string is very long, and looks nice when stretched out as one long string, or tumbled in a pile on the table.– The center part has its own LEDs, so I can turn off the string lights and still have a tent light.– It uses both a remote AND built-in controls, so if I lose the remote I can still use the light.– The remote has an auto-off timer. I can set the lights to turn off after I’ve gone to bed.– Has a pop-up handle for carrying or hanging in tent.– The 3600 mAH battery can be used to charge my phone in a pinch.– Has an IP44 rating so I don’t have to worry about it getting splashed. I won’t leave it out in the rain, but it’s nice to know that an occasional sprinkle isn’t likely to kill it.– The price at time of review is $20, which is a good value for this model. This one is a keeper. I’m planning to order more.
