MAONO XLR/USB Dynamic Microphone for Gaming PC, RGB Podcast Mic for YouTube with Software, Mute, Gain Knob, Volume Control, Boom Arm for YouTube Gaming, Singing, Recording, Streaming, PD200XS Black

Audio Clarity: Vocal reproduction is punchy and warm, making it great for both serious practice sessions and final takes. It delivers premium audio quality. Worth every single rupee!True Plug-and-Play: Setup took seconds without any driver headaches.Superior Noise Rejection: The cardioid pickup pattern works exactly as advertised, isolating my voice clearly while ignoring ambient background noise.Flawless Live Monitoring & No Feedback: I use it directly with OBS open source software for karaoke practice and song recordings. The 3.5 mm headphone jack provides crisp, zero-latency direct monitoring. Even when routing the output through amplifier speakers for live practice, it handled high volume without generating annoying feedback loops. The mic design is elegant with a halo ring around the mic and volume control knob. The performance genuinely exceeds my expectations.

I like this product, but there are some issues that need addressing. The quality is excellent, but similar results can be achieved with a phone; however, sound isolation doesn't work during phone recordings, and it isn't designed for video recording across various platforms. I'm concerned about the plastic quality of some parts, like the microphone holder, which seem quite fragile. On the plus side, this is a good microphone; I tested it for my studies and am happy with the sound quality. It works well once you understand the settings, which took me a days to figure out across different platforms and Windows. Some settings might cause issues, but that's not the microphone's fault, so be cautious. Appearance, setup, adjustability, and compatibility all get a 10/10. The mic's overall quality is excellent; as my only mic, I believe it depends mainly on the settings and software, but otherwise, it's fantastic.

SupportI have been very happy with the MAONO PD200X. The sound quality, build quality, controls, and overall experience have been really good, especially for the price. I had no complaints with the microphone during the time I was using it.Unfortunately, the microphone stopped working just before completing one year of use, while it was still within the warranty period. I contacted MAONO support, and I have to say that the support team has been really good so far. They listened to my problem, guided me through several troubleshooting steps, and tried to help me resolve the issue. After testing the microphone on multiple devices, it turned out that the microphone itself needed to be replaced.MAONO has offered me a replacement unit, and I am currently waiting for it to arrive. So far, I am happy with how the support team has handled my issue.I will update this review once I receive and test the replacement microphone.

I bought this mic mainly for office calls and gaming on my iPad. Before this, my colleagues could barely hear me over the construction noise and traffic outside, since my place is near a main road. I wanted a good cardioid mic that could block out background sounds, and this one does that really well.Got the mic and arm combo for under 5k during a sale, and I was honestly surprised by how much background noise it removed. My voice came through clearly, and all the annoying noises were gone. The only issue is that I have to keep the mic pretty close to my mouth. If I move it away, the volume drops a lot and the quality sounds worse than my phone mic. Since it’s a top-address mic, it always needs to be near my face. That’s fine for gaming, but looks odd during office calls. Maybe a better arm or some gain tweaking can fix it, but turning up the gain adds a bit of white noise, especially when recording through the iPad.Other than that, it works great with OBS, Meet, and Teams. If you don’t mind keeping the mic close, it’s one of the best options in this price range.Pros:Excellent noise cancellationClear voice qualitySturdy build and good armGreat value for moneyPlug & Play, works straight out of the box with Android, iOS, Mac and Windows, very easy to setupCons:Needs to stay close for best soundGain increase adds slight noiseOverall:Perfect for gaming, streaming, and calls if you’re okay with the positioning. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

Great voice quality as well as controls.

I kindly request you for Returning this product...becoz its not compatible for software which I used for song recording...

I've been using this microphone since June 2025 for podcasting, streaming and creating content, and of the microphones I've owned, this is easily my favourite.I bought the version with the boom arm and it has been permanently clamped to my desk ever since. The clamp is extremely solid and the arm makes it easy to pull the microphone into position when I'm recording and push it out of the way afterwards. 5 stars for the adjustability alone.Setup was ridiculously straightforward. I connected it via USB, OBS detected it and I was pretty much ready to go. I set the LED to pink on the first day and haven't changed it since, partly because I love the pink and partly because I've completely forgotten how. 😂It took me a few recordings to find the best position for the boom arm, mainly so it was comfortable and I wasn't constantly bashing into it rather than because of any audio problems. Once I found the right position, I've barely thought about it since. Most importantly, I'm really happy with the sound quality. I use this regularly for my podcast and videos and it's been reliable throughout. After well over a year of regular use, the arm, clamp and microphone are all still performing brilliantly. 100% value for money.I'd absolutely buy this again if mine broke. In fact, I like it enough that I've contemplated buying a second one as a spare.Easy 5/5 from me.

Kvaliteten ät dålig pch ljudet är inte bra

I am pleasantly surprised at how good this mic kit is, especially for the very reasonable price. I've had very expensive mics before, and this one does almost as good a job, but at a fraction of the price. Definitely a good deal.
