A Simple Effective Tool
This pen is an electrical induction voltage tester. This is a simple device to check to see if the spark plug wire is providing an electrical spark plug. Just place the grooved end along the coil wire going to the spark plug and if the light illuminates you have a good electrical signal but this does not tell you if the spark plug is good!
