Great board! I ordered two of them
Great board! I ordered two of them, one for myself and one for my 10 year old son and we love them! Was surprised at how nice they are considering the price. I sold my last longboard which was a loaded vanguard so my expectations for these boards were not that high thinking that I had previously ridden such a nice board, but I figured for cruising around town and occasional trips to the local skateparks and bowls that these would be fine and did not think much more than that. However, upon receiving them and taking them out I was very happy with my decision to buy them! Way more than I figured I'd be! They are well built and ride great, bearings are smooth and fast, wheels grip well and roll nicely, trucks are fine, just needed tightened a little, but once I did that they ride great! We have since used these around town, on some local paved trails, on the street, and rode them at a local bowl called the Bro-Bowl and they have handled everything fine (minimal wheel bite at the bowl on some tight parts, but for a 44" longboard they did well). I have also made up a couple of land paddles and we have enjoyed pushing them around town using those. A few guys at my BJJ place also have longboards and skate and were really impressed with these when we rode together. I wish Ten Toes made a 30" board we could get that would be better suited for the bowls and skateparks, if they did I'd buy a couple of them without worry based on my experience with the two I have.

Excellent quality and value!
Excellent value in a beginner longboard. Bought this for my boys and ended up ordering another one. This board is basically the same as the Quest but with better graphics and bamboo. Well thought out design, it has generic trucks and wheels but they function great, this thing CARVES! This is a cruising and carving design and is tons of fun. Can't believe how much they have advanced since I was a kid. The turning radius is excellent, wheels are sticky and roll over just about anything within reason, it's stable and fun to ride with the extended kick tail. Board is very stiff, pretty much no flex whatsoever, but that is a good thing in a beginner board, I think it contributes to it's stability. The fit and finish on this longboard is excellent, I mean really much better than I anticipated. It has a beautiful bamboo laminate with a matte finish and very tasteful graphics, the best I've seen on just about any board, and I have looked at plenty. They look so good I built a hanger to display them. If I had one complaint about them it would be the bearings, that would be my only upgrade (and will be), they just aren't up to the quality of the rest of the board, they have noticeably more resistance than a board with better quality bearings (Reds Bones are pretty cheap). I was worried this would be a Walmart quality board for this price ($60), it most definitely is not!In short, Awesome deck, good trucks, wheels, and bushings, but bearings could use an upgrade. Wheel cutouts are appreciated as this thing carves really well, and the kick tail makes this board fun for the boys unlike a pintail or drop through.

Great for beginners
I was going to give this board 4 stars but decided on 5 stars based on value. I knew of the lower quality bearings. It says so in the description. However, for my teenage daughter who hasn't skate boarded ever or really roller skated this was fine. Her friend got the same one and they rid them everywhere. They picked it up immediately and had a great time learnign also. I tried a drop board and she didn't like it. It sits high only goes about 10 or 15 feet per leg push and is pretty slow. All in all a great learning tool. I will upgrde the bearings this summer as her confidence riding grows. With the added cost of bearings It still is a pretty good value beacue the deck is well built and the designs are verry nice looking.

Excellent board, smooth and fast!
Excellent board for the price or honestly at all. I skate currently even in my older years. I used to skate a lot of street, but now I just want to cruise. I actually bought this for my daughter and she lives it. Of course I had to try it out. We live on a pretty steep hill about 1/2 long and it was freshly paved about 5 months ago. I took it down the hill and it was amazing. I was doing about 35 mph on this and it is smooth, fast, stable (no speed wabbles) and it looks good. On my normal street deck I would had speed wabbles out around 20-25 mph. Not on this, it felt good. What more can you ask for. I did not lookup the details of the hardware, but I can say from the feel and usage of it, feels strong and solid. My daughter and I are enjoying it.
