Odd I'm excited about a box but this thing fits the battery extremely well and it's built solid. I've used a lot of other brands boxes with boats over the years that are flimsy but this one is fantastic. I used it to add a second "house" battery for a Yamaha Viking VI so we can run the sound bar and lights all night without getting stranded. 10 stars for this box.

Why all battery boxes are not made like this I have no idea. I used this one on a boat. The NOCO boxes are great for that purpose. Tough and durable, easy to open, stay shut when you need them to and most important, keep the water out. They come in a variety of sizes and are less expensive than the traditional brand for boats as well. I have bought a lot of battery boxes over the years as I like to set up my boats electrical system with multiple batteries. This is by far the best choice for a plastic marine battery box or any kind of battery box for that matter.

Good price, well built and fits battery

This is a nice little battery box just the correct size for a lawnmower battery. It has a strap to hold the lid down along with snaps on the side and also it comes with a plate and screws to mount it.

If you want to fit a u-1 size battery on something, this is the one you want. Put this on a generator converted to electric start. This is made in u.s., seems well made and should hold up well. Going to order another for a different project, you won't be disappointed with this purchase.
