Diving Surface Marker Buoy Set SMB 5ft High Visibility Inflatable Scuba Signal Tube Safety Sausage with 100ft Diving Spool Reel and Clip

This is a nice inflatable dive buoy made of thick material. It has a reflector on the top and a 100 ft rope to attach to yourself. I plan to use this diving in some smaller lakes this summer and it will be nice to make sure any boaters know where we are at.

This buoy is quite large and made well. It's a thick material and very visible on the surface given the huge length and bright coloring. It comes with a reflective strip on one side at the top, which would have been nicer to have on both sides. It is a closed DSMB system. The buoy rolls easily and can be kept rolled with the elastic or I think the velcro that comes with it, and then there is a ring to attach it to the BCD/string.Overall it's a great system and I'm happy.The one big flaw is it comes with zero instructions and, as someone new to using buoys, I was fully confused as to how to use it. Eventually I found a YouTube video of a similar buoy being used, but it took a while. Basically the straw-like valve works by pushing it in with your mouth while blowing in air. It is then released by the pull tab. Given the high price it should really have had some sort of instructions, hence one star down.
