This product is great - very heavy 1/2" solid aluminum, and a perfect fit for my double doors. I looked everywhere for something for more security for the double entry doors and found this on Amazon - something I did not know existed. It fits perfectly, and now you would have to kick off both door knobs to gain entry. The small key keeps the device in place until you need to remove it. Then you simply pull it out and put it somewhere you won't misplace it.
