We have been giving Jazz, our black lab, the rawhide bones for a 15 minute period after his evening meal since he was a pup and he is 11 yrs old now. For the last couple years we reduced the time period from 15 minutes to 10 minutes which we currently maintain. Early on, he quickly gauged the time that he was going to be able to have the rawhide and when the 15 minutes were up he would bring it out to the kitchen and give it to us of his own volition. When we switched from 15 to 10 minutes, the 2nd day he was on auto-pilot with the 10 minute schedule. I really feel that the rawhide regimen has been a huge plus for his dental health, as he has great teeth, white & clean to this day. He does love the Rawhide Rolls. Now the bad news: For a number of years the rolls were much tighter and the rawhide rolls seemed to have just be better rawhide. We would get as much as a week sometimes more out of a single roll over the first few years and that has droped sharply. At a flat 10 minutes a day of actual chew time we get from 1 to 3 day (rarely a 4th day). Jazz has slowed down with age andthe bones, if anything, should be lasting longer, but sadly this is not the case.

These are the best rawhide bones I have found. They are nice and long but not too large like knots that are hard for the dogs to bite into. I don't like my dogs chewing on bones once they get smaller than 4 inches for fear they will try swallowing large chunks instead of chewing them down. These keep them busy for a long time before I have to take them away because of my own paranoid, safety reasons. I have an11 year old, large BC/Lab mix and a 1 year old BC/Aussie mix, both of whom love chomping on these. They're great for keeping the dogs content on rainy days when we're all cooped up in the house on rainy days. Also, they're the only rawhide I have found that really satisfies my younger dog's youthful need to be chewing on something. She chews on one of these and then has no problem with leaving other things alone. Who knows how many items I have saved from destruction by having these for her to chew on.

Long lasting for a dog who can usually go through these in a few hours. This bone takes her 3-4 days and longer if we limit her time with it. Does not upset her stomach.

My big rescue dog Maggie loves these and has no trouble chewing them up safely. They last as long as described and are a good deal.

I was already using this product buying retail, and was glad I could get it on Amazon and be able to get them when needed, delivered to my home. They give my dogs the chewing they need and are of good quality.

My dog loves these. Big so he carries them around the house.

These are easily digestible and tasty for my dogs. I only buy this brand!

Although my dog loves these treats - he’s a big, strong guy and one of these lasted maybe 20mins. They also shatter fairly easily which could be dangerous for smaller animals and really make a mess. Dry and brittle.It’s unfortunate these items have become unaffordable across the marketplace. We’ll have to find something else.
