Girlfriends Forever

Susan Branch's book are all pretty with the watercolor pictures and journal type font. I've found, especially after this one, that I'm not fond of the content. It's journal like, which I usually like. This one is titled "Girlfriends Forever" and the beginning talks about some girlfriends and events, but most of it just gives little blurbs here and there thrown into recipes and her days. It really was pretty boring.

This is my second copy...one will be "gifted" to a friend who also is a big Susan Branch fan. The books is fabulous...a visual treat full of treats you can make to eat, or simply enjoy looking at. It arrived in perfect condition.

Bought this book for a very dear friend. She passed it on to one of her close friends. Just a really nice book to pass on to othes. Love the illustrations.

Susan Branch has a wonderful way of weaving together the things girls think about and love doing together in this book. Her memories help spark our own memories of the things we did with our best friends growing up. It has recipes, get together and party ideas and wonderful suggestions on how to care for ourselves and each other. Her usual selection of quotes, watercolor artwork and insightful words fill this book. She does not disappoint us as once again she finds a way to bring her friendship into our homes. It is the kind of book only a true girlfriend can appreciate.

I bought a copy for me back in 1999 and I cherish it. So inspirational! I recently purchased a copy for my daughter because she wanted to have her own copy. Absolutely enchanting and delightful!!

I gave this wonderful book to a wonderful friend. We both love it! The illustrations are fabulous, and the anecdotes and thoughts the author shares are amusing and sentimental. Women are quick to relate to Susan Branch's experiences and memories. Stirred up memories that I had long forgotten and enjoyed revisiting them. Makes a great girlfriend gift.

It's old. Interesting facts, but I don't think it's gift worthy. I read through it, but buying something else for a gift to an old friend. I may throw it in as an extra gift.

Love the Susan Branch Book. However, the dust jacket was missing. It was not mentioned when I bought the book. The book is in perfect condition, but the jacket is missing

This is a lovely book which I enjoy. It is well presented, interesting read and beautifully illustrated not to mention the good recipes.
