Was in need of replacing my existing travel shaver and there seemed to be many to choose from. However as a Wahl clipper user (which are the best) and my wife uses a Wahl travel hair drier (which is really good) I thought I would give their shaver a go. I have to say it is the best shaver I've owned. Started using it as my main shaver!

The shaver itself works brilliantly. I was able to shave my face AND HEAD in a matter of minutes.However I will have to purchase an adapter in order to plug it in to a 3-Point British Socket!! This will cost another £10 so quite disappointed in that respect. I imagine it would plug straight into a Shaver Wall Socket however I do not own one nor do I find them in many places any more.However the shaver is so good otherwise that it still deserves four stars and would have got five stars if I could plug it in anywhere - especially considering an adapter won't fit in the box affecting the compactness of the over-all product.I recommend Wahl replace the plug with a USB so as to keep the product both contemporary and as compact as they claim (with a smaller box to compliment said compactness).

Firstly I like the compact size, easy to hold and store. I find that this shaver is ideal for stubble that's one or two days old, so perfect for traveling.What's not perfect it the shaving rash I get from this shaver, or indeed the shave I get. The time it takes to complete a shave is far longer than the Remington I have and Wahl doesn't cut as close either.Overall compact, nicely packaged, and it will get the job done.

Bought this 3 months ago for quick top up shave of an evening however it's good enough for a regular daily shave. It shaves just as close as my £80 Philips and fits very easily in my travel wash bag.
