We wanted to know why one side of a room was warm, and the other was very cold. So that our council would take notice and do something about it.

This is 100% accurate, you can keep it in any room but more ideal to keep it away fro the oven or cooker as the temperature will escalate the reading otherwise this works it's affordable and great for anyone with elderly parents that doesnt want the home to be too cold or too hot. A great essential buy for anyone.

Was not what I wanted but works ok. Mostly for a child’s room.

We bought Energy Saving Eco Room Thermometer (Blue) X 2 for our newborn on the advice of health visitor/midwife. When we had the product it wasn't working but we thought we will wait for the health professional to check. Once they visited us and look into the product they said it's not working and we have to buy from another supplier or other product as its important for the newborn to have it in the room. According to the supplier, we need to contact them first before leaving comments on Amazon & we respected their direction of communication. We tried their phone left few voice messages but no response then we sent them an email after a couple of days we had a response from lab manager replying to our query very rudely saying the product is fine and our health visitor & midwife don't understand the product functions. If we are not happy with the product we have to send it back to get the refund. We were very surprised by the answer & also for the refund of £5 we spent half of it to send it back as recorded delivery.

Really good buy...bought them for my setting arrived quick and is an effective product..

Not sure if they tell correct temperature

Works o/k but a little dim on display for elderly or poor sighted.
