Mishimoto MMAI-MUS8-15BL Performance Air Intake Compatible With Ford Mustang GT 2015+ Blue

Ordered using prime on Good Friday and arrived next day. Fitted to my RHD 2016 Mustang GT in a couple of hours. Opted for Mishimoto as it’s a solid looking sturdy closed unit. When doing my research I read about others in wet climates having problems with units which were open. This being England and seeing as we enjoy more than our share of rain, it was my personal choice to go with closed.Only really tricky part during install was the clip on the factory fitted sound tube. It was a real pig to get back on, but apart from that it was straight forward enough and I’m a complete amateur with this being my first time trying to fit a CAI (got brave after fitting gas hood struts, strut tower brace and coil covers a few days earlier). I just followed the install video on Mishimoto website and, after a bit of pause & rewind, I did it. Opted to stick with the sound tube but the kit does come with a delete cap for the induction hose should you prefer. If you completely remove the sound tube you will still need a cap for the firewall, however you can pick them up cheap enough on line. Yes it will make under the hood look neater getting rid of the sound tube, and not everybody likes the so called ‘artificial sound’ it generates inside the car, however personally I don’t mind it.Based on delivery, build quality, appearance and my limited time driving so far, I give it 5 stars.Can’t really comment on the performance side yet as not had a chance to properly test, however I think it looks and sounds amazing.
