Uncomplicated repeated pattern on the page, all pages different and relaxing to colour
This book is simple for anyone to colour and there is a lot of repetitive colouring per page making it enjoyable to get lost in time. It is a good book for when I feel stressed or upset. It tends to be the first book I will go to as it is not too difficult once you have decided on the colours you want your picture to be, it is just a matter of following the lines. There are so many different books now to use as a therapeutic calming tool as well as a fun craft and creative idea. I like this book and think it is suitable for all ages and skill levels. This book is part of a collection of similar books of which some of them include, nature, flowers, mandalas, patterns and zen as well as others others called peace, love and harmony. The pages are not perforated so you would need to take care removing them from the book but there is a slight border on the spine of the page where is is not printed making it easy to see where to remove the page. The printing is one one side of the book and the left side is blank which makes it convenient not to have an image on the reverse of your picture.I like this book and have enjoyed colouring in the pages. The printing is in black with no border/frame on the pages and the paper is white and feels similar to the thickness of regular photocopy paper.

Nice adult colouring book. However, do not like the pages with black backgrounds and do not want to colour them in.

Childhood memories
"Grown up colouring book?" I thought. "What a load of rubbish!" I thoughtWasn't until I told my niece about it and surprise surprise she had one. She said "Do you remember when you were little and you coloured the squares in your maths exercise book how relaxing that was, creating pattern and colours, well it's a bit like that."So to cut a long story short, I got one. Did the the 1st pattern in the book and haven't put it down since. No TV, no phone, kids screaming in the back ground (but I can't hear them) My niece was right it does take you back to your child hood. There are easy and intricate pattern in this particular book. I have use felt tip pens and the good thing about the book the pages are thick so the felt tip pen doesn't seep through.I will be taking mine on holiday with me next month instead of reading a book. Don't knock it till you've tried it!

A good book also for people who just need a hobby
Absolutely brill, i suffer from stress all the time and anxiety, this book helps me to calm down. I start colouring before i know it i have spent 2hrs on a pic, it is so addictive. At first i was very sceptical, colouring for a lady of 47 HA, but really it is so calming and you can use it with mindfulness, A good book also for people who just need a hobby.

Not for more experienced colourers as some of the patterns are both repetitive and basic, but still a good book.
Again this book is half designs and half blank pages, why do Amazon not make this clear in the description, a younger buyer might feel very cheated by this. The designs are full page and repetitive, some would give you headaches for sure due to the patterns. The paper quality is okay but due to the nature of the designs I would recommend this for beginner or maybe younger artists. To me some of the designs look like wallpaper from the sixties, now that brings back some memories!!

These colouring books are AMAZING! I would recommend these to anyone! Very very relaxing me and my Girlfriend where sat around 2 hours just colouring and were in complete silence all the way thru'. My girlfriends mind normally works overtime even while watching TV so she bought these to try and relax her mind and it does work!
