Excellent condition, well worth the money I paid for it. My son loves it and is now displayed with the other batman models.

What A Great Car
Corgi's done a lot of great batmobiles over the years, but I thought this was particularly inspired. Whether the small version or the larger one, it's the simplicity of this batmobile that makes it a classic. Instead of the usual high-tech, airplane fuselage-looking car body, it's a simple roadster with Batman, cape flowing behind him, at the wheel. It's like a snapshot from the evolution of the Batman. Stylish and unpretentious.

Not for little kids; a Toy for Big Kids
Not a toy for the young ones--really--this is for us old boomers who grew up with Batman in the 60s and 70s.I love the Corgi line of Batmobiles. They represent a Batmobile from the entire Batman timeline: The red roadster from the late 30s and early 40s.This roadster which came later; the 40s Batmobile with the Bat-head front; the 70s Batmobile and so on.I don't recall a "Robin" car which they also sell but there could have been one and it's still cool. I'd really like to see them add The Robin Motorcycle from the mid-70's comic stories (see "Batman Family").I love the detail on these cars. They are for display; probably even intended for adults like myself. Buy them and enjoy.

1940's Batmobile roadster
Good detail, good metal construction, but not a toy for playing with. This is definately a collector's item, not for your 5 year old. It's amazing to be able to chart the evolution of the Batmobile from it's early 1900's origin, to the latest incarnation.
