I Highly doubt you'll regret it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Opening is difficult but not impossible *by B***R on October 28, 2023* I bought the 2 wires splice and the 3 wire splice so this review applies to both. First impression is they came some of them closed and locked and others open. Took a while to figure out how to open them. Then I remembered they mention using a pocket knife (without any other instructions). I have a small Swiss Army knife that has a flat blade screwdriver in it and the blade fits nicely into the little black rectangular depression of the main (black) body of the lock, just right behind the (transparent) lock tab. By twisting the screwdriver, it forced the locking tab to release off of its latch just a little. Then go to the other side and do the same thing again. Hold the splice just right or you will close it tight again.
