Easy and helpful!
When I use this constantly I definitely notice a positive change in my lower back pain! Great to keep things open between chiro appointments! I was skeptical but it really does help and feels great!

Must have!
We use this every day, and it is fantastic! Best roller I’ve ever had. Super strong too. I weigh about 230 and it holds me no problem, even with aggressive rolling.

Great product!!
Perfect fit for rolling out my back, specifically my spine and my shoulder blades. This wheel is compact and easy to carry around yet it’s sturdy enough to work on perfecting my wheel pose.Good value for the price being offered. Overall I’m happy with this product.

Good quality, sturdy yoga wheel.
I have a weakness for yoga accessories, and I got this mainly with hopes it would help me improve my wheel pose. The product title claiming it was a back cracker & for back pain relief was a bonus. The seller’s pictures don’t provide a good representation on different ways to use the wheel. I suggest searching the internet for videos on different exercises/ways you can use the yoga wheel. This wheel can really help with building strength and flexibility in your back; search for: yoga wheel stretches. There are videos catering to all levels.Like:* Sturdy – I feel stable, and don’t wobble from side to side, nor fear I am going to fall off.* Strong – I was concerned that the material would give in under the support of my weight and it would turn into an oval (vs. circle). I don’t feel it give at all, and it has maintained its original shape.* Comfort – The foam is thick enough that it’s comfortable to be in a back bend position with all my weight on it, and never experience any discomfort/ pressure. A video tip suggested to put a towel between you and the wheel if it's uncomfortable. This did NOT work for me as a back cracker. When my back is bothering me, I can roll over a foam roller and it cracks my back and I quickly get relief. I have never had this type of success using the wheel. I will stick to my foam roller.I was hoping this yoga accessory would help me with the lift I need to transition my basically high bridge pose up into a wheel pose. It didn’t work as I hoped. This was my first experience using a yoga wheel. If I had a chance to try one out before I ordered, I would have not ordered it. Having said this, I believe depending on your yoga level and flexibility, this can be a very helpful tool (there are a lot of instructional videos on the internet). At $24.99, the price seems comparable to similar items.I am rating this product 5 stars based on it’s durability, comfort and price.

Great for Yoga, Unsure about Therapy
Despite doing yoga on and off for many years, I hadn't actually heard of a yoga wheel until a few years ago when a particular brand (unsure if I'm supposed to say other product names in an Amazon review, but needless to say, it's the sound a bird makes) became popular as a "back cracker". Having tried this one, I can say it does allow some interesting variations on yoga poses, but rolling your spine over it until you hear things pop? I'm really not sure yet. It's hard to review this wheel in particular without reviewing the concept of yoga wheels in general, so despite my reservations, that's why I think it deserves 5 stars: as a yoga wheel, it seems perfectly functional. It's sturdy, yet has a bit of flexibility, and is covered in a thin layer of foam. It doesn't have the little spine "groove" that I've seen on some others, but I'm not convinced that would actually do anything for comfort. It did seem like it could do with a bit more padding, but for the purposes of stability, especially during actual yoga practice, this might be the ideal amount. On the subject of "back cracking" and pain relief, I have given it a few tries to see if it effected my chronic back pain. I did, indeed, get a few pops out of it, but I didn't find it very comfortable or particularly relieving compared to other similar methods I've tried. Though I'm not a practicing massage therapist, I received a degree in therapeutic massage when I was younger, and it reminded me of the fact that, for good reason, massage generally avoids putting pressure directly on the spine itself. Primarily because it hurts! There are small muscles attached to the vertebrae that can be released, of course, but the majority of muscular back pain comes from the larger muscles supporting the spine. Fortunately, the wheel isn't so narrow that it actually jams itself against the spine itself (which would likely be quite painful with full body weight), and it does seem like the majority of those "pops" come from it pressing against muscles that are attached close to the spine. However, it still is quite narrow, and the more narrow a device like this is, the more pressure it's going to cause. In my case, this was enough to hurt! This is why I'm not sure the wheel beats a very similar device: the foam roller. Foam rollers allow you to roll over the spine in a similar way, but at an angle that's closer to the ground, and even the smallest ones are narrow enough to distribute pressure evenly across the back. And, when it comes to targeting smaller areas and trigger points, I prefer something like a lacrosse ball.In general, if you're experiencing back pain, I'd recommend talking to a doctor, chiropractor, or physical therapist prior to self-treating with something like this. On the other hand, if you're looking for something to support or add difficulty and variety to your yoga practices, this seems like a solid option and far less expensive than a lot of the others out there!

Not a great option for back rolling for me and my family
I am not a fan of this product. The first time I tried to use it, I pretty much fell off of it and bruised my elbow. This is a piece of PVC pipe with some foam glued to it. It did not crack my back, it did not massage the muscles on either side of my spine. When I use it, it deforms under my weight (220 lbs.). Everyone in my family tried it out and they all said the same thing. It is too narrow to actually do anything, and it is wobbly and they felt unbalanced on it. If I had it to do over again, I would save my money and get the product that is wider with a spine groove molded into it. Three stars as it looks just like the images and fits all the specifications. Minus two stars for not actually performing the functions it is advertised to do.

Google Videos
We got this in, and so far my husband and I are liking it. We primarily got this for cracking our back, but I will also look into yoga poses using the wheel.I came to the listing once we received the wheel, and I was disappointed that there wasn't a video showing how to use it. Google and YouTube to the rescue. I see us using this daily, or at least several times a week. The wheel is strong for support and padded for comfort.
