Brilliant key fob.
Brilliant - unlike others on the market this works with just a little dismantling of the old fob and reassembling into the new fob.You will need to remove the key finger from your old key by pushing out the pin holding it in place, and then assemble into the new fob by a reverse procedure.Make sure you order the right type for your car as per the advert. This is only the key fob with no electronics and is great if it's only the buttons that have worn out on your fob as mine had.Took me all of 10 minutes to accomplish and now I have a new key fob that works. I've now ordered a second one to replace an old fob that had also had worn buttons.

Perfect replacement but no instructions and a little fiddly to do. With the right tools 10 minute job.
Bought 2 of these as replacements for 2008 Citroen C4. Product matches the Citroen code 0523 ( printed where the key folds into the case)You will need 1: 20p coin to open case.2: A hammer and small pin punch if you wish to use the original key blade and not pay to have the new one cut.3: Pair of pointed pliers to pull out the pin and to push it back in through the original blade once changed over.4: Stanley knife to remove the Citroen emblem on the back of the old fob and some glue to stick it to the new fob.If your key is as old as mine maybe change the battery too.

Fiddly but good result
Used to replace Citroen C4 remote key fob case where buttons had worn through. The hardest part was removing the cotter pin which held the original key blade in place and then reinserting the new pin to hold the old key in the new case. I tried blunt nails, paper clips, etc and in the end I was lucky enough to be able to borrow a tiny punch. You may want to purchase one at the same time as the replacement case. Holding the pin in position to reinsert it was tricky - I used a blob of oil in the end, and had to bash it really hard to get it in. Also clipping both sides of the new case together took a while - in the end I found clipping a long side of the case first then pressing the other side worked best. But now it all works fine and I even moved the Citroen logo plate from the old case to the new.

Not as simple as a straight swap
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Having brought a 2nd hand car, I brought a new key fob as the other was worn down and grubby. I was aware this was for an empty shell. The comments was that its easier ish to swap the keys over. This was not true. I even brought additional tools to hammer pin out. So next thing I tried to swap the whole key over and they were different, so couldn't do a straight swap. I do have the new casing on, howver the key doesn't lock into place in the fob. This does not effect the use of it though. Ive attached a photo showing its as good as a really branded one (yes its unbranded) but then also attached a video as well

Easy to change.
selling my old car but key fob was totally knackered. Ordered this fob shell and then changed the pcb over, so easy. The actual key requires a small cotter pin to be knocked out, this allows the original key to be fitted and the cotter pin replaced.About 20mins and you have a smart new fey fob to go with the car. Switch buttons are very positive when pushed.I recommend this unit when the original is a problem.

Replacement key fob
Old fob was tatty. Easy to change key blade and electrics over to new casing. Amazing transformation once completed. I would suggest ordering the car logo badge to finish the fobs look.

Fiddly pin
Used these to replace the 2 key fobs that were showing their age, was simple to swap over although if you don't have any special or small tools to secure the key to the fob you will struggle, in the end a pair of pliers and a lot of swearing later I managed to get it done.
