I recently purchased this Intel Core i7 mini PC and have been pleasantly surprised by its size-to-performance ratio. It's perfect for general office or home use, though it's not geared towards high-end gaming. It handles lighter games like Minecraft or Roblox smoothly, which is a plus for casual gamers. The mini PC is not designed for toolless entry, but accessing the internals is straightforward with just a small Philips screwdriver. One of the highlights for me was the included 1TB NVME SSD and the ample 32GB of RAM, making it ready for some serious multitasking and light virtual machine management. It's also equipped with an additional NVME slot for future upgrades, which is a thoughtful touch. While the absence of SATA connections for extra storage and no Thunderbolt port might be downsides for some, the available USB4 ports meet all my needs effectively. Pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro and sporting an Intel AX201NGW WiFi card, the setup was hassle-free right out of the box. The RAM, provided by ADATA at 4800MHz, and the unfamiliar brand Airdisk SSD with a heat sink, both perform well under load. I'm particularly impressed with the dual 2.5G Intel NICs, crucial for my networking needs and both function flawlessly. It also came with a 120W power adapter, which is more than sufficient given that the PC consumes around 90W under load. This extra power capacity is beneficial for connecting multiple USB peripherals without a hitch. Overall, this mini PC strikes a great balance between performance and expandability, making it a worthy investment for those who prioritize efficiency and future-proofing in a compact form.

My home office PC is getting old, and I wanted to upgrade to a faster, more powerful and more power efficient PC. The GMKtec K7 plus will be used for general office work, PC-CAD, spreadsheets and some financial software. The GMKtec K7 Plus was well-packaged and received quickly. The unit is compact and, although the case is plastic, appears very solid and functional. The build quality is good, noting that even the case screws had threadlocker applied. I installed a second 1TB SSD in the available slot and it was recognized promptly. I used the included VESA mount to mount the mini-PC to the back of my monitor for a clean desktop configuration. The AMI BIOS is version “NucBox K7PLUS 3.20 x64” dated 3/20/24 and includes many settings that could be tweaked; however, I found the default settings to be perfect for my use. The Windows 11 Pro version installed smoothly, was activated properly, and I was especially pleased that it did not contain any bloatware! It is so nice to receive a new PC and not have to spend hours cleaning off unwanted junkware. After installing my office software, browser and a couple CAD programs, I tested the unit trying to see how much it could handle. Even running 3 simultaneous 4K streams, I could not get the CPU over 30% utilization. This PC has power to spare! I ran the programs overnight and the maximum CPU temp never exceeded 55C. This PC is very quiet, but not silent…you can hear the slight hum of the CPU cooler and the system fan. The GMKtec K7 Plus is power efficient. The included power supply is rated 120 W, but the most I could measure with all my software running hard was 45 W. Under normal use, (office and browsing operations), the PC consumes about 17-19 W. When in sleep mode, the power consumption is 1.6 W. The included PCIe (v3) NVME 1 TB SSD proved very fast as seen on the attached CrystalDiskMark results. From cold boot to Windows 11 in 16 seconds! The included 32GB DDR5 is more than adequate for all my present needs but can be upgraded to 64GB if needed. This PC will fill all my needs for the foreseeable future, and I recommend it for anyone who needs a small, fast, quiet and power-efficient min-PC.

It's a very cool Mini pc computer, comfortable and convenient, very powerful and I've never had a problem with its speed, it works very well and is stable, the SSD disk is perfectly configured and speeds up the process a lot, I bought it in 2024 and since then it hasn't turned off for a day and it works stably. Purchased this mini computer in Jan 2025. I have always had traditional tower computers with good results. My previous tower computer was way past its useful life so I consulted my son who knows a lot more about these things than I do. He suggested the GMKtec computer as he has owned one for a few years. At first everything was fine but with some time I noticed it would shut off a few times a week. Long story short a few weeks ago I heard a loud pop and when I looked to see what happened the GMK was off. Could not get it to turn on at all. I contacted GMKtec and they gave me a list of things to try to get the unit to start. All did not work. I finally delt with a man named Julian and expressed my concern in sending the unit in for repair. I have sensitive & personal information on the unit and did not need it to be viewed by anyone. Julian agreed and said he would have Amazon send me a brand new unit that I could then transfer the memory card to. Then send the defective unit back to GMK. Although all of this had to be done by email and text, the result was I had my new unit in less than 2 weeks. It works fine and I am happy. Julian was the key to getting this issue resolved on a fairly quick time table. This computer has more ram, memory than any of the towers I ever owned. Its quiet, small and easy to set up. I would recommend this brand for someone that needs lots of memory & ram. It fits my needs fine. Thank you Julian for your help in resolving this issue. John D

This little guy is extremely fast. So fast that I named him Speed Buggy from the older cartoons. Yes, I'm that old. Anyway, I am pleased with everything with the machine except for the statement that it has four NVMe ports. It only has two. I got two 2TB drives for this machine thinking I could expand storage to 8TB. I'll find a drive enclosure for the other drive. Otherwise, it's an awesome machine! Speed Buggy lives on!

The K7 Plus is an excellent device that perfectly suits my home server needs, running dozens of containers and few VMs for development, all using Unraid. GMKTek support is also excellent, answering questions under 24 hours and always keen to help!

While searching for a replacement for an 8 year old Windows 10 desktop I was getting frustrated by high prices and not finding the features I wanted and components for a build my own all seemed to be geared toward high end gaming when all I wanted was a solid desktop. While this little computer does not having space to put an internal optical drive, it seemed to check all my other boxes and I already had an external Blu-Ray drive. It comes with 32GB of ram, a 1TB SDD M.2 drive with Windows 11 Pro preinstalled, has room to add a second M.2 drive and the included RAM and drive can be swapped out with higher capacity versions. It also has four USB-A 3.2 ports and a USB4-C port. I needed to be able to support dual high resolution monitors and this computer has a HDMI and a DP port on the back plus the USB-C port can be used to support a third monitor, all up to 4K resolution. It also sports dual 2.5G ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. It does not have an internal speaker, but my old stereo speakers work just fine plugged into the headphone jack. In setting it up I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. Although I later found at times it was too quiet as the initial settings have it slow down the processor rather than increase the fan speed if the CPU starts to get too hot. By changing the power mode in BIOS I now have it speed up the fans before slowing down the processor. Unlike other brands, it came with a clean Windows 11 Pro install without bloatware. One thing I did find is that you can not enter BIOS with a Bluetooth keyboard as Bluetooth doesn't start up until after startup, so if you need to get into the BIOS settings you need to keep a USB keyboard on hand. The other shortcoming is that while this machine can be upgraded, it's not obvious how to open it up and there's nothing in the manual on how to do so. The top pops off revealing four screws. Once the screws are undone the top pries up. I included photos showing this as well as the second M.2 drive I moved over from my old computer. The memory chips included in mine were Crucial DDR5 16GBx2 which have good reviews, and the drive is a 1TB MasonSemi SSD Gen4 x4 which had respectable reviews. Now the only problem I have is what to do with all the space in my computer desk that used to taken up by my old tower.

I purchased this about 14 months ago and it has been a fantastic little box. The fastest computer I have ever owned. A couple of weeks ago, (maybe due to a faulty Win11 auto update???), the desktop disappeared and I got repeated error messages that either or both "VERSION.dll" and "VCRUNTIME140_App.dll" were corrupted. I downloaded the Win11 software from Windows, and I tried the system repair functions and system restore, and using restore points, and even tried a complete Win11 reinstall and everything failed. I despaired of ever seeing it run again. After all, it was more than a year old. Against almost all hope, thinking that the hard drive must have gotten corrupted, I submitted a query to GMKtec via my Amazon order page, and got a COMPLETE response with instructions and links for reinstalling the original OS. It took a couple tries to get the OS file from the link they sent, since Google was blocking it (NOT GMKtec's fault!). They ended up giving me a new link that did download, and I was off to the races. Reinstall went seamlessly. I am overjoyed! And not just because the NUCbox is back up and running, but because their support staff are real people with real skill and I didn't just get blown off like all too often in the world these days. They went out of their way to help get me back up and running.

It supports Ubuntu and is a very reliable mini PC. Very satisfied. Very light and portable even with the adaptor.

It's a powerful very small PC with capabilities most often beyond expectation.
