7.9 inch Tablet Pilot Kneeboard case and Strap for Android Tablets w a Screen Cleaning Cloth, ipad Mini 4, not for Insignia Flex 8" or Amazon Fire HD 8

I bought the IPad mini 4th edition. It fits great. I am a student pilot with 20+ hours and this setup does not interfere with the controls. It’s got a small pocket on the inside for a checklist or a map maybe. It’s well made for the price though it’s not indestructible. I don’t plan on dropping my iPad so the case will prevent everyday wear and tear. Toss it into my flight bag no problem. Fast delivery. Well made. Good price. Would buy again

Everything else is good. Especially considering the price. Also, the strap is plenty that well fit with even 240lb weight man's thick thighs. But there are some flaws. First, the screen and the leather do not fit exactly. Secondly, the other part is strong, but the front cover handle is suddenly torn. There is no problem with operation, but it will need to be supplemented. Despite these problems, the price is good.

Just reviewed the ASA version of this product, and it’s a no brainer. ASA has t updated their holders, and there is quite a bit of overlap covering the screen, and making it difficult to reach the home button. This one does not have that issue. Biggest differences, it’s way thinner. Like way. It’s not quite as heavy either, and yet, feels about as study. I like that they went with magnets instead of velcro. Though they’re not terribly strong, so if you’re a helicopter guy or performing acro, this might not work. I also like that the screen turns off when you close this case. The strap is not as wide as the ASA’s, so I’ll have to get back and update after several flights with it. It comes with a screen wipe, which is nice, and the inner pocket is as useless as all the other inner pockets... except I suppose you now have a place to put the screen wipe.No clip on the front? Bread clip it. For the price of this kneeboard, you could buy a box of clips and still have money left over instead of having bought a pricier model. (See photo)The pen holder is perfectly suited for an Apple Pencil. No amount of shaking showed even the slightest slippage.Camera placement aligns well, even with a little shifting in the case.The front magnets are strong enough to keep the front flap closed even when suspended face down, also a plus.

Stays closed with magic which is nice. Haven’t. Had a chance to test it midflight yet. However the strap is way to short. I’m a slim guy and even the the strap stretches it’s way too tight. They needed to make the Velcro strap much longer than they did.Esp bad if you have larger thighs.

This is a great kneeboard. Fits iPad mini 5 perfect. The leg strap is too short. Got some elastic band and Velcro from Walmart and had a new one sewed. Well worth it.

I've been flying around with my iPad mini 2 for chart use with Foreflight, but up to this point, have been holding it by hand when needed and placing it on the seat next to me when not. Old system was very cumbersome. Just bought this kneeboard strap/case and it has cleaned up my cockpit and streamlined how I use my iPad. Kneeboard fit snugly to my leg (not skinny by any means) and kept the iPad secure and easily available. Having just got the strap, I can't comment much on durability (hence, 4 star for that portion), but definitely got my money's worth on this one.

Good news are, good material and generally well made, nice leg strap holding, and the iPad fits tight and secured, the price is very low and incomparable to other productsBad news, both rear and front camera cuts are partially covering the camera, I had to modify both sides to clear the camera, also its missing the paper kneeboard which you still need it , therefore I am going to use Velcro to attach the paper kneeboard to it..... Hmmm, and only one pen holder???Also, there is no secured pockets to keep papers like ID, license, etc, which you need them only when you fly.But, do I regret buying this cheap iPad Mini 5 kneeboard? NO... In fact, with this price, I might buy another one to do different modifications on it.

Been using this for a year now, holding up well. I fly with it everyday. The strap is a little weak but the cover is good. Can’t beat it for the price
