Another excellent read from Douglas Reeman
This book has one big problem, I didn’t want to put it down. I had late nights not wanting to stop reading and then a sense of loss when I finished the book.I think I have read all the books from Douglas Reeman and his other pen name Alexander Kent but joy of joys I hadn’t read this one. I seldom read books more than once but with this author I have read most of them at least twice and this book is no exception. How I envy some one who is just discovering Douglas Reeman and has all his books enjoy for a first time.

Good read
As is usual with Redman a great book. I have read all his books and not found one bad one. I am even buying them one stage at a time so that they will all be on my kindle.

Breathtakingly brilliant
Once again the master of naval adventure produces a masterpiece of storytelling. I was just a little disappointed that the story ended rather abruptly. I would have liked the finale to have included the tying up of loose ends, like did he get the girl; what was the reaction of the Americans and how about the Admiral and his son. Still, it was a good tale.

For me Douglas Reeman has done again what he does best, tells a very good story at his steady pace with a great mix of characters, action, excitement and a little touch of romance.Another enjoyable book.

A good read, but maybe not one of Reeman's best ...
A good read, but maybe not one of Reeman's best books. Three of the characters turn out to disappoint. The final action is pretty hard to follow or to understand the contestants' motives.
