Not sure for car windshield fluid
I used this in my house for glass cleaner. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It does wipe things away, but it isn't as streak free as an ammonia based solution. I only had a 16oz spray bottle to put it in. I cut the tablet in half, but even that is technically too high of a concentration by 32 oz. I would say definitely allow the solution to fizz up before you put it in the car fluid part or in a spray bottle. Mine kept leaking out of the bottle because I didn't realize it would overflow with the lid on. Even once it looked like it was finished fizzing, it still came out of the squirt part until I locked it.I am impressed by the amount of tablets you get. I don't think I'll need cleaner like this for a very long time. As long as it works on car windows I do think it would be worth it. The price is $14.99 for 50 tablets and each tablet works in 128oz or 1gal of water.

Summer Formula, Use Filtered Water
This is labelled as a "Summer Formula" on the box, but it doesn't list a temperature range, so I would absolutely avoid using this if temperatures are going to be below freezing. That being said, save an empty washer fluid bottle for use with these tabs, it makes it easy to mix. My tap water has a lot of minerals, so I opted to use filtered water from my pitcher - if your water has a lot of minerals, I would recommend this, it's only a gallon after all. I actually filled my jug about 3/4 so I could get a good shake, and then topped it off once the tablet was dissolved. The tablets do fully and completely dissolve, and they do so fairly quickly.Performance wise, it seems to work well, easily as good as the budget stuff you get from the big box stores. I haven't had any streaking or residue (use filtered water!), but it kind of struggles with splattered bugs - just like the budget stuff. But having a box of these, I suppose you can use as much as you want. It's kind of hard to beat this kind of value, I would get these again.

Doesn't work
I don't know why I expected a summer windshield cleaner and multipurpose cleanser all in one to work. I'm not upset over it being a summer only fluid. Other companies make summer only windshield washer fluid. It means it will freeze in the winter. What I am upset about is and freshly cleaned car developed streaks on the windows when I attempted to clean my windows with it. Thankfully I didn't place it into my car reservoir. I used a gallon jug to mix it in and place a sprayer top on it so I could try it out. I placed it to the side while I washed my car. I came back to a third of it forcefully expelled.from the sprayer top. At first I thought the jug had a leak but no. I wasn't watching the jug but somehow it built up enough pressure to leak out. The biggest fail happened when I attempted to clean the windows. I had a few drops of dried water on the windows from allowing my car to air dry after washing it. I thought this would be an easy test. I was SO wrong. After I sprayed the windows they were covered in streaks. I couldn't get them off despite repeated rubbing. I eventually got Windex and cleaned them off that way. 50 tablets of uselessness is not a deal. It's not better for the environment when you have to chuck all the tabs into the garbage. Buy this type of product from a well known car brand of which there are many. This is a knock off that doesn't work.

OK for summer windshield washer fluid and house window cleaning. Not for winter.
AGS sells this same product in a tube of 10 for $8.49. For $18.49, this is a comparative half-price bargain for 50 gallons that you might be able to give away in your will unless you have a fleet of vehicles.I've bought a similar water-based product years ago. These are essentially the same. The stuff works when the temperature is above freezing, but not in winter because it will freeze. Does not clean bugs off the windshield very well like some of the more potent expensive stuff in jugs.Make sure you empty it out of the car as winter approaches. Concerning cleaning house windows with it, I recommend sticking with a fast-evaporating alcohol-based Windex or similar. My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews!1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.

Works well for windshield.
I've been looking for something like this ever since I saw something similar in an auto-hardware store one time. It seems so crazy to be buying wiper fluid by the gallon when it's mostly water and I have that coming out of the faucet for next to nothing. Drop one of these tabs in a gallon of water and you have what you need. If I can work out the side of my wiper tank, I'm probably going to work out if I can break off an amount and drop it straight in there with fresh water. With the fairly low rate I have to refill, these are going to last me a long time too. I am pleased with this product.
