Very happy with this - it's hard to see what glass mouse pads costing more could do better: I got the plain black one. The texture (on the underside of the glass) is slightly sparkly (looks quite nice!) and I've encountered no tracking problems at all. I'm using a Logitech Pro Superlight mouse, removed the original shaped skates and used four of thin skate pills in their place. Initially I stuck these pills to the original skates, but that lifted the mouse too high. I've had no problems since rectifying that. The top surface is almost completely smooth - very low friction (but not quite as smooth/frictionless as it _could_ be). That's working out really well - there's no sense of stick/slip. If you press down (in panic), it doesn't make the mouse stick (very unlike a soft mouse pad). The size is OK too, though any smaller and that would be a problem. I really don't recommend using this as a combined gaming/work mouse pad, though. That lack of friction with increased pressure means that clicking can sometimes result in the mouse moving as you press (so the OS treats it as a drag, not a click). I got a cloth pad to sit on top of it for general use, since the glass one is stuck to the table-top.

I got this glass mouse mat for my husband, and it’s quickly become one of his favourite desk upgrades especially from a fabric one. The surface is smooth, so the mouse glides effortlessly. It feels really precise and responsive, especially for high fps gaming He said he noticed the difference straight away and hasn’t gone back to his old mat since so I assume that means he never will. I wasn’t sure how good it would be because of the reviews but I've had no conplaints yet. It’s also super easy to keep clean, I just vibe it a quick wipe and it looks brand new again, which is a nice change from fabric mats that tend to collect dust and grime that are a nightmare to get out. Looks really sleek on the desk and gives the whole setup a more modern, minimal feel. Overall, it’s been a really great addition to the setup. It performs well, looks great, and has genuinely improved his gameplay with the easier movements. Would definitely buy again.

Really nice got for my autistic son as other products he couldn't stand tge feel of them. The only thing I didn't like about it is once you place it down the suction is very strong and hard to get up, but happy wiv this product

This is so superior to normal material mousepads. It doesn't slide around or crease and is so easy to clean. My mouse prefers to work on the glass surface, which enables fluent motion. Also I find keeping it in the foam packing square eliminates any table top sliding

My previous glass pad was the wallhack SP-004 which I got rid of because I find that too slippery. This one has a rough textured surface which could actual hurt you if you rub your skin hard enough on it. I find this surface gives a similar static friction to the SP-004 which is very low, and about 80% the moving friction which is the perfect combination for me personally. The only concern for me is a potentially faster wear on mouse skates due to the rougher surface. I am using some cheap dot skates made for cloth pads and it seems to work fine at the moment, so I guess even if they do wear out fast, I can just change them without breaking the bank. In terms of general build quality, nothing to complain. No dead zone, no sharp edges, grips to the table well.

If I am honest I wasn’t expecting miracles from the cheapest glass mouse surface I could find brand new but I was extremely happy once I found the right skates for my mice to use on it. I would not say that this is a speed pad nor a control pad, but sits in between. I don’t play games where I need rapid accurate movements so mileage may vary should you do so, but not had any issue with getting used to changing from cloth/resin pads to this glass one (took all of 20 minutes to dial mouse DPI & lift off settings in perfectly). I did change from skates suited to cloth pads to GhostGlide Pills on my mice & the mouse moves freely & quietly across the surface. The glass mouse surface stays in place on the desk with no sign of warping out of the box. Not felt any sliding about on the desk with the factory fitted base although if you wanted to you could stick your chosen base material to it without issue. The included cleaning pad also does a good job although I tend to stick to my high quality microfibre cloth instead.
