A good read
This is a wonderful book for younger children, to introduce them to the great work of George Muller. It is written so that the very young just learning to read can do it, but it also has a text for older ones, so fits a dual purpose.George Muller, founded the childrens homes in Bristol, and it is good for children to know something of the hardship and prayfulness of this man.DL

Excellent for Teaching the Great Missionaries to Children!!!!
This series is excellent for teaching about the great Christian missionaries to the children under 10 years old. My son is 8 and is still very interested in this series. Each page has a more challenging text that the parent can read and a simple text that new readers can read. I own 5 in the series and they are all equally wonderful.

Great for little ones - kindergarden to first grade
These three books are very sweet and written to the point (I purchased the three pack that included Amy Carmichael and Hudson Taylor too)- it notes for kids older, around 3rd grade, but I found that they were too easy for my third grader and though he liked the stories, they were too easy to read - however, my first grader loves them! I'd say they are better for kindergarden to first grade.

Great example of a foreign missionary
I read this to my preschool class. We were studying missions and what it means to be a missionary. This book fulfilled my purpose very well.
