Great option if your stand doesn't have a rail
This works very well for what it is, though I prefer the rails that are attached directly to the ladder stand. I have one stand with out a rail, so this was my best option. Pros: great price, reasonable well made, real easy to mount, everything you need to hang it is included, provides enough support for a rifle or xbow Cons: not as stable as the rails attached to ladder stands, a little narrow. I'd recommend this to anyone

Why did I wait so long??
It is not strong enough to hold all your weight by any means but works well as a rifle rest and arm rest. Most importantly I feel much more secure in my ladder stand than before I had it. Wish I had bought it years ago when I could have. I am MUCH more comfortable now both physically and mentally. Having an arm rest make a LOT of difference to comfort and long sits.

Great for relaxing in the stand
The back does poke out more than I would like, but this is a great upgrade for my simple treestand. This product is cheap and is just sturdy enough to make me feel more comfortable and have a place to rest my gun. Now my brother and cousins want to get these for their stands.

Good shooting rail
It straps to the tree nicely and comes with good padding for the rail. There is also no metal on metal sound when lifting and lowering the rail. Because it's held on by a strap and no frame support underneath it will give a little and the rail will sink 1/2" when you put something on it.

It works
The rest mount strap is flimsy. It straps to a tree. Good luck in making long range shots. Other than that it works. I plan on using a rachet strap in the future.

Works great with ladder stands
These shooting rails work great with my ladder stands. I put blind material on them to conceal me from deer while hunting. The deer would often look up at the tree and see me. Most tikes if I don't move they do not spook. But they become wary and are impossible to hunt with a bow. With these rails and camo material they don't see me and I have had more success. Recommended.

Easy assemble and mount. Now For Results.
Assembly was easy, I did this in the cabin, and carried unit out to tree, used safety harness during the mounting of unit to tree stand. The unit side rails provide a sturdy support to either side. The front of the unit, in my opinion, projects a good half foot too far out. It would have been nice if side rails had a set of mounting hole another 6 inches closer to the front rail. Might be fine for 60-100 yard straight on shot, which is pretty much par for the course up here in NE Minnesota. Anything closer in and not to the sides might prove problematic. As per photos, unit stores up nicely for easy entry and egress. Sturdiness: I certainly would not do chin ups on the bar. That said, it does provide support, and takes out that little bit of wobble associated with an unsupported shot. Conclusion. Anything that promotes a more ethical shot is a plus. If I have any action from this particular stand (actually seated). I will return with further review.
