I don’t usually write reviews but this needs a review,I read all the reviews before purchasing this some was bad and some was ok but i thought I’d take a chance with it and brought it,I must say it amazing wire,it is abit fiddly to start because of how thick the wire is but once I started wrapping it it round the coil it was alright,make sure your strimmer can take 3mm cable if it does get this,I’ve strimmed grass nettles and really thick foliage and it went through it like butter and the wire didn’t break at all,this wire will last a life time it’s 45m and very strong stuff,really pleased with it

This stuff is excellent, lasts so long while trimmer those old weeds that snap normal twine

Was a little tricky getting on to the dewalt spool. Was much easier after I cleaned out all the debris from under the spool so I could turn the spool and feed approx 4 meter length onto it. If or when the edges fray I will snip it back so I don't have tiny bits of wire flying around. Probably best for heavy duty strimmer.

Great strimmer line very strong, but hard to put it in the strimmer as it's hard to control, but once you have sorted it works really well.

This strimmer line is extremely strong with a steel wire interior and nylon sleeve. You'll need some good cutters to cut the length you need.I've uploaded a photo of what happens when you fit it to the wrong kind of strimmer. I thought I would give it a try with one of those "bump and feed" strimmers. The problem with them is they have a cutter at the end to auto trim to the right length, which of course makes light work of the nylon shroud but as you can see left the strong steel place.Fitting to my other strimmer I had no problems and the line was very strong lasting longer than my other strimmer with it's thinner non-reinforced core. I think this 45m long line is going to last me a very long time.

£12.99 for a whopping 43 metres of strimmer wire is a great price. Comes safely packed in a plastic case, it is very strong and lasts longer than wire I have had previously proving it is good value for money. Great product.
