In fact when I first tried it on I thought I ordered a L, which I’ve been trying not to do in these oversized fits, but I looked and it was a M. You might want to think about sizing down with this vest because it is definitely an oversized fit. I LOVE the vest. It’s so well made. I ordered it in Light Blue, rather than the darker version and it looks great. The vest snaps up front with five silver snaps and double snaps at the bottom. It has a really cool elastic bottom with three rows of elastic, a great design feature. It’s going to pair well with practically everything and become a wardrobe staple for me. I moved to a small beach town and I feel so cute in this denim fisherman jacket!!There is a marina near here and I wore this vest once and got lots of compliments from the boat girlies so I think I am effectively blending in while standing out. I love the denim as well, it's soft.This fits to size and is a comfortable outfit. Plus I love the pockets.

For this vest, I ordered a medium but since it is oversized and runs large, a small may have been a better fit for me. It’s a little boxy and big on me but since it has a relaxed fit, it still looks great with leggings, jeans, sweatpants, dresses, and shorts.

It has a stand up collar and two large pockets with flap openings just below the chest/ higher on the waist (depending on your torso) and the front and side hemline is elasticized, the back is not. It has a snap front.The shoulders are cut very broadly, and it has large armholes. If you don't snap close the vest, it has a boxy look and feel which can be cut down if you cuff the shoulders or roll them under.This vest (IMO) looks best over a hoodie or something with thicker, wide sleeves to help take away from the over broad cut at the shoulder.It's a nice vest, but definitely not for all body types. If you are long of torso, the length is nice as so many denim vests are cropped, but if your shoulders are narrow the placket/shoulder line of this vest is going to dwarf you.

I really love this denim vest. I'm retired and my style is casual, so this vest is great with many items in my wardrobe. The workmanship is is good, but the sizing seems to run a little large, so keep that in mind. Nothing more to say except I highly recommend you buy this if you love the casual look of denim.

This denim vest is really good. It's made of thick material and feels like good quality. I like how it's a bit oversized and has a collar, big front flap pockets, snap buttons, and a shirred waist. The light blue color is nice, too. For reference, I'm 5'3" 1/2, 110lbs, bust 31.5, size 2, and I got the extra small in light blue. Overall, I'm happy with this vest.
