WORTH EVERY PENNY FOR THOSE WITH ALLERGIES AND CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES - Pure Cool TP04
I have had the TPO4 Pure Cool for maybe a month. It is in the bedroom. For me, it is worth every penny, as I have allergies and chemical sensitives. I love the app and the graphs. I can tell the VOCs chart goes up when I spray Windex or other cleaning solutions (that bother me). Also, it tells the breathing conditions outside (air quality, humidity, temperature, and a particle quotient,) then, shows all that info for the room it is in. I want to keep my particles to 0 but they do go up occasionally so I increase the speed.PROS(1) The air quality for me to breathe in the room has increased tremendously. I cannot express the relief I have had. I had a small hepa filer for years but still I had allergy and dust irritations with it. Not so with the Dyson TP04. I keep watch on the graphics and act accordingly to keep the VOCs and particles to 0.(2) The night mode will make it quiet and bring the fan speed down to 1 to 4 speed, which is adequate unless your room is very hot. Click it on or off and you can tell the difference.(3) The app is grand central for all needs. I love it and use it exclusively.CONS - what I don't like about it(1) It is a bit heavy and large. I had hoped to be able to move it periodically to other rooms as needed, but it is not easily moved for an older lady. You have to pick it up from the base and move it. You are NOT supposed to lift it from the big oval fan.(2) The remote is a great idea but I use the app on my phone by the bed instead. The remote itself is magnetic and sticks to the top of the fan. I read that parts of the purifier are also magnetic. So be careful if magnets are an issue with you. Read the manual or call CS with questions. And don't put the remote close to your phones.(3) Not really a thing, but the Auto setting that is supposed to filter the air as needed, I find does not keep my quotients as low as I want them to be. However, the quotients are definitely on the lower end.I recommend this for anyone with strong allergies or chemical sensitivities (like cleaning supplies). It has been a tremendous help to the air quality in that room, and therefore my breathing.

Worth it.
I have adult onset allergies that can be severe, and during the pandemic my allergist that gives me my weekly allergy shots for immunotherapy has been shut down for months. I have the smaller heat and cool machine for my bedroom and it really improved my sleep, as long as I avoid long term exposure (24-48 hours) to most of my allergies I just have to maintain keeping them out of the air as best I can. I also now work from home so I am always in this environment. So now that the backstory is out of the way. There were already pretty lofty expectations for this, since like I said I already have another Dyson machine, and give the price tag for this as well. First impressions were pretty good, it was a real nice surprise to see how the vents are located and such. Then the linking of the machine to the app completely stopped me. There was some issue where they would not link, even after multiple soft resets of the machine and deleting the app, restarting my phone, and then reinstalling it. I was in a chat with customer service after this went on for like 4 hours, and then of course it suddenly recognized and worked after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting with them. I do want to be clear here though, yes it was frustrating that I couldn't use my phone but the machine was still functioning I just had to use the factory remote.Since then literally 0 problems. App works fine and the filters still going strong. I use it to cool my living room which has cathedral ceilings and a loft and my kitchen I'd say it's about 800-1000 sf. Having been living and working and existing in my home this whole time I think it's wonderful. Sleep mode makes it super quiet and you can set a schedule as well. I leave it on auto all day except when it tries to turn itself up because the AQI went up and it's blowing out the back. When that happens I really feel like it's overworking the machine to be at full power blowing out the back like that all the time, so sometimes I'll turn it down to like 2 or 1 and then swap the air to th front and turn on the pivot. You can do all that on your phone as well. So it's getting two stars in the "easy to use" category for almost having to return the machine over software issues, everything else including overall rating is 5 stars though. Lovely machine.

Love my Dyson Air Purifier!
So one thing that didn’t work out was that when I purchased it on Amazon, it came from a reseller, and they sent me a Canadian product, when I couldn’t get the app to work correctly, I called Dyson’s customer support and they were very helpful, the rep was the one that let me know that it was a Canadian product. And it really isn’t much of a big deal but as I was flipping through the screen on the unit there was a temperature display but, in Celsius. I asked the rep if I could change it and he said that it wasn’t possible. Well I didn’t want to have to convert it every time I looked at it (which now I realize, I never have since) but I didn’t know that at the time, so I returned it. The rep helped me out and I ordered a new one through Dyson, since he mentioned something about the warranty not being valid as long or something, when you buy it from a reseller. Now onto the product review, I love it! I love the design, and I’m impressed with the sensors it has, I keep it on Auto all day. If I open up my balcony door for too long, it’ll sense the car fumes and it’ll turn right on to start purifying the air. It’ll also turn on while I’m cooking, which helps clear the cooking odors faster. The remote is easy to use and so is the app, when I’m lazy I just use the app to turn on the fan or make it oscillate, or just to see a report of how much air quality has been in the past few hours or so. I have no complaints on the product. So in conclusion, I love my Dyson air purifier, Dyson’s customer support was very helpful and just make sure you’re buying from Dyson if you buy on Amazon, try to avoid a reseller to make sure your warranty stays valid.

I should’ve bought it a year ago!
I have been looking at Air purifiers for over a year now as our daughter has very strong spring allergies. Dyson seemed to be the best one but I was not sure about spending so much money till a friend told me about it. So I bought it and it’s incredible. First of all our daughter doesn’t come for breakfast sneezing and with itchy and runny nose anymore, even when she opens her window. The van makes no noisy and it is really cooling even though is not A/C. The thing our daughter likes the most is that you can install the app on the phone and see the particles in the room. There is an auto function which ables the Dyson to start by itself if the air gets bad .... I could go on and on!
