Chirri & Chirra, The Snowy Day (Chirri & Chirra, 3)

I adore this book. The illustrations are so cute and so sweet that it actually makes my stomach hurt. Beyond that, there are some beautiful reminders about life in winter and all the animals that are still active. My favorite spread is one depicting various animals engaging in all kinds of fun activities, both active and more passive or still, but none of them requiring technology. A subtle reminder to kids of all the fun they can have without their devices (if you're struggling to get them to set it down for an hour or more).

After checking out Chirri and Chira in the tall grass from the library, I did something I almost never do. I bought it and the first in the series as well. Then I preordered this. They're all completely fantastic, an unexpected combination of calm and magic, but this one might be my favorite.

So charming and magical! It’s like stepping into a childhood dream. My 3 year old loves this book but I would read this over and over on my own as well. We will definitely be collecting the rest of the Chirri & Chirra books!

We have all the Chirri and Chirra books, and this one may just be my favorite. Absolutely stunning illustrations and a sweet, quirky, and calm storyline make for a childhood dream in print. Definitely recommend, and can’t wait until the next one comes out!

I purchased the first Chiri and Chira at our local bookstore and my family fell in love with it. We purchased the rest in the series as presents for the kids and they love them all. They are incredibly charming and unlike any other books we’ve ever read. We are even having Chiri and Chira camp this week based on the books.
