100% Recommend
Just got these today, and within the first hour of using them I could already tell they were worth the money. The active noise cancellation works surprisingly well and makes a huge difference in a noisy environment. The sound quality has been great so far, and overall these earbuds feel like a high-quality product. The hooks help keep them secure, so they stay in place and don’t fall out easily, while still being comfortable to wear. The Soundcore app also works great, and my firmware was already up to date right out of the box. I live in a noisy household, so good noise cancellation is a must for me. I mainly plan to use them for college lectures and music, and based on my first impressions they seem like they’ll be perfect for both. They do a great job reducing distractions so I can focus. Very impressed so far.

VERY Nice!
These earbuds are excellent! The sound quality is very nice and the noise cancellation is descent. I’m blown away by the battery life! I like the over-ear hooks. They are soft and comfortable and keeps the buds in place. For me, they are much more comfortable and stay put better than Apple AirPods. At this price point, it was a superb purchase. I’m considering buying a second pair for the office.

Does everything it needs to do VERY WELL and doesn’t sacrifice anything for useless features.
First time pair is easy, and then after that it connects to your phone instantly as soon as you take them out as it should be. I keep one earbud in for my entire 8 hour shift and it’s not even dead by then. I’ve had these earbuds for like 2 weeks now and I don’t think I’ve even charged the case yet the battery life on these things is LEGENDARY!!! The sound quality is truly amazing. I’m no audiophile but I do enjoy music that kinda requires good sound quality for the song to sound good like rap music and EDM and it makes my music sound AMAZING. The bass is good by default but you can even turn the bass up in the soundcore app. And the sound cancelling is really good to and there’s even a wind sound cancelling mode that actually works very well it makes my outside smoke sessions VERY immersive and it’s ALWAYS windy where I am because I live on the coast. And the fit is amazing I put on the large ear rubbers and they go in and never come out because of the little hook. Another thing is that I’ve had a 200 dollar pair of hook earbuds that after long use made the top of my ears where the hook rests start to itch and form a crust. This earbuds hook is very gentle but still keeps the earbuds in. And I also appreciate how the multifunction button isn’t the flat side of the earbud like every other brand does nowadays. There’s a little button on the side of the earbud you press with a very satisfying click so when you’re adjusting the earbuds you’re not accidentally skipping a song or something. If you’re on the ropes about this pair of earbuds, GET THEM!!! I will absolutely use these until they can’t be used anymore. This is the happiest I’ve ever been with a pair of wireless earbuds EVER!! I will never open up my drawer full of random wireless earbuds again lol.

Not bad at all for the price point
I wasn’t expecting much from these but after paying nearly $200 for beats powerpro just before these, it wasnt s high bar to beat (pun intended). It would be nice to know what the charge level is, or if they are charging in the case, those are the 2 main drawbacks to these. However fit, sound quality, noise cancellation all earn great marks. I use these almost daily in a very dirty work environment doing metal fab, welding, grinding etc and they have held up well! I am now starting to have issues with them but i have been rocking these things WAY longer than anything i had before them (minus corded models). I say features could be a little better for the money, but in the end these are comfortable, reliable and worth the investment.

Great Earbuds!
These are Great earbuds for the price. They have a lot of EQ settings, which make them sound so much better. They stay put in your ears. Can't even tell you have them on sometimes. Very comfortable. You can adjust the ear hooks they will slide in and out to fit however you need them. Don't take them long to fully charge. They will play for about 5hours. They have good Bass. You can adjust that in the EQ as well. They sound really good. I have several pair of earbuds, I also have the Soundcore N20. They are a little older, but sound just as good. Really good buy.

Decent Ear Buds
I give these ear buds a 3 out of 5 Stars. They fell good in my ears and fit well, the battery life is good as long you don’t use transparent or noise cancellation they will last a good 10 or so hours but if you turn on the other two options they last about 6 hours. It they are in normal mode when getting notifications on your phone like txt or calls they don’t register, need to be in either the other modes as well you have to have both buds in to make it work which is disappointing. I also lose connection or get a lot of static when listening to music or books on tape it gets annoying. I like the color, subtle. They aren’t bulky or weigh a ton which is a plus. They do take a little to fully charge. Seems to be made of good materials and durable in construction of the device. They have good sound as well bass for what I listen to which is Metal, EDM, Country and Classic Rock. In the app you can customize to your liking is a plus. If the top features were on par would be a 4-5 star for sure.

Anker Soundcore Sport X20 are keepers for me
I usually don't write many reviews, and I especially don't write them after only a day or two of use as I don't think that is a fair way to really evaluate a product, sometime problems or concerns don't become apparent until later. These impressed me enough to write a review after only couple days of use. I first tried a cheap $29 set that failed on so many levels so sent them back. The Anker Soundcore Sport X20 was on my initial list but I thought the price was a bit too high. I now know how wrong I was, I should have just bought these the first time and avoided all the aggravation and hassle. There are a couple annoyances/quibbles I have but they are keepers. Likes: The sound on these is great. I've tried other Anker earbuds (Liberty Neo and Liberty ZOLO) and on the other pairs I needed to keep the audio on the very lowest levels to prevent excessive loud music in my ears. The X20 is a much more reasonable audio level and I play them more at normal volume setting on my iPod Nano. Very impressed at the quality of the automatic noise reduction. It is not the same as wearing ANSI ear plugs but it is very good. I have tested on both my motorcycle and when mowing the lawn. In those situations the ANR may work too well as I like to be able to at least hear some engine noise, especially on the motorcycle. They do a great job as reducing the wind noise inside the motorcycle helmet. Like the ear loops too, it keeps them securely in place, especially when putting my motorcycle helmet on/off. The loops are very comfortable and when wearing while mowing and doing shop projects for several hours they never once bothered my ears. The button on the earbud is small and requires a very positive press to activate the functions. This is great because it prevents accidental activation, some of my older earbud were very easy to accidentally press the button. Annoyances: These may not be the best choice for use when motorcycling. It is great to have music but cannot activate the tiny buttons to answer a phone call or change the mode to transparency/listen thru. You basically need to decide which mode to use before you put your helmet on. When initially testing these I was only getting two modes. These come with only the ANR and Transparency modes enabled. To enable the Normal mode I needed to download the app to my phone and pair the X20. Then I was able to use the app to turn on the Normal mode. There are three different sounds, one for each mode. Personally, I would prefer different sounds, something like 1, 2, and three beeps would be easier to distinguish but once you learn the sounds it's easy to know which mode you entered. Found that using the app to change the modes resulted in a lot of noise when switching modes. Not sure if this is my phone or something else. When using the buttons on the earbuds the transition between modes is seamless other than the sound bit that plays. It is annoying that it always tried to pair with both my phone and Nano. Since I'm really not using these for phone calls, and because I prefer my music on a dedicated MP3 player, the easy option is to either unpair them from the phone or as I did, turn off bluethooth on the phone (rarely use bluetooth due to security concerns, plus bluetooth off can extend battery). The ear tips are cheap standard round tips. The effectiveness of ANR depends on good fitting tips. The supplied tips tend to work themselves out of the ear canal and allow outside noise in. I have some old tips that were tri-flange, they worked great when wearing but the don't fit in the charging case so I needed to take them off to recharge the earbuds. It would be great if Anker would design a case that is large enough to accept other ear tips or custom ear molds. The finish on the charging case looks like a matte/flat finish. Usually finishes like that tend to have some texture and grip well. I find the finish to be almost slippery, certainly not what I was expecting based on how it looks. The case on my old Anker Liberty Neo is shiny gloss black and seems to be more secure when I'm handling it. Dislikes: I honestly can't find one thing that I dislike. Other: I have not tested the different equalizer settings. I pleased with the default setting. My listening is usually in far less than ideal environments so trying to squeeze perfection out of my audio really isn't a goal. Have not tested the max battery life. I work them when mowing and then working in my shop using power tools, total time was a little over 4 hours. Normal mode claims 12hrs and ANR mode claims 7hrs. While I personally could sit on my motorcycle and ride for 7hrs it's unlikely as gas stops and rest breaks would be required. I think most people would not use earbuds continuously for +7hrs, simply dropping it in the charging case for a 5-10 mins when taking a break would result in several more hours of playing time.

Overall, great sport ear buds with some small issues
I stand by the overall thoughts in my initial review. These are very good earbuds for the purpose of using at the gym and running etc. After 2 months, my left earbud simply stopped working. I worked with Anker support and tried a few things including a firmware upgrade. Surprisingly, the left bud worked one more time but then did not anymore. In the end, Anker sent me a new pair that arrived overnight!!! I don't know where they were shipped from and it is possible it is close to my home. No drama needed. They stood by their product. Nonetheless, I was fully impressed. I have a few different Anker items and I nearly put the brand on the back burner. However, they totally redeemed themselves with me. I am really hoping my new set actually holds up for the coming years. I really like these buds for the purposes that I use them for. Original review ---------------------- These buds have the 2 essential characteristics of a good sport/workout set of buds. First, they have physical buttons, which is a must for me. If you have ever run for a bunch of miles and have sweaty hands and then use a touch sensitive volume up control, you might appreciate this as I do. Nothing worse than sweat staying on the control and the volume just continuously raisin until you are forced to pull out the buds. Second, they have ear loops to keep them in place. Another bit of experience from running or working out when they begin to fall out because your ear is getting sweaty and you are trying to dry your ear and the bud tips so they stay in. Other than the basics I look for, these sound plenty fine and I am happy with them. The equalizer is really to dial in the sound you are looking for, but they have plenty of presets you can choose from. The software is well designed and easy to work with. No problems connecting at all. Though this set is for working out, I did check the latency with my laptop. For my use, the latency of these buds was okay with the laptop. It was not fantastic and there was some very slight noticeable delay in the lip syncing, but in a pinch I could live with these, but they would not be a primary device for that purpose. Lastly, the price is overall fair for the overall quality of the buds. However, a couple of comments and/or things I am not fond of. Despite having physical buttons, I have a hard time indexing where they are. I know where they are, but when I put my finger on them It does not feel like a button is there. I also have big fingers, so I might just have an issue most others don't. I am not sure. I would have preferred them on the outside of the bud where the logo is like many other brands. Also related to the buttons and software, especially on my right bud, when you set something to the double button click (like next track), there is not double click tolerance. For me, I have to have the perfect rhythm to get the double clicks to work. It can't be click click or click pause pause click. It has to be a perfect click pause click. Otherwise it most often just pause the music and I am wondering if it is going to the next track. This is probably my biggest gripe with these buds and it is annoying. I am hoping that they will fix this tolerance in an update or that I innately know the pattern with practice. My other gripe is that the cycling of the ANC, Normal and Transparency modes seems to only be allowed with the long press action (could be double click too, but I did not check that). Why is that? So my preferred set up which is from using other buds in the past is this (L bud = Left bud, R bud = Right bud) Single click (R bud) - Pause/play Double click (L bud) - Replay song (previous track) Double click (R bud) - Next song Long Press (L bud) - Volume down (wish press to hold would keep lowering, but that is another issue) Long Press (R bud) - Volume up Why can't I use the Single click (L bud) to cycle through the ANC, Normal and Transparency?????? I would really like the option to use those features on the fly. However, what do I use for volume then? I like the ability to replay a song and since I have hundreds, every now and then I want to hear one again since it might not come up for a long time. Do I remove the next track? That stinks because sometimes you are not in the mood for a particular song at that time. I could stagger the controls and make the previous track the Single click (L bud), Volume down double click (L bud) and then use the mode switcher for long press L Bud, but that really messes me up just thinking that the left and right controls are not lining up well. So I don't know why the set it up like that and I hope that they would fix that too. It is just sad to not use that functionality that could be useful because I don't want to give up other controls that I think are just a little more needed. These should be 5 star buds and in most respects they are. I can live with the button placement and I will get used to that. However, the double click timing bug (yes it is a bug to me) and the inability to 100% arrange the controls as I want them and lose functionality that I could use, only makes these truly a 4 star product.

Super Top!!!
