Bought a GE brand the first time I had to replace our MWF filter. Was about $70+ at the home improvement store. Second time, I tried an off-brand (not this one) and the water trickled out. Thought I'd give the bargain route one last try with these and glad I did. Works great, no issues with flow, and was able to get a 3-pack (with Prime shipping) for a third of what I was going to pay for a single GE brand filter. Highly Recommended!

These filters fit our refrigerator perfectly, and appear to work just as well as the OEM GE filters. These FilterLogic MWF filters are substantially less expensive than the GE ones. We are much more likely the change out the filters on a regular basis at this price point. Don't believe the scare tactics the peddlers of the GE product are using, intimating that "the quality "may not be as good". These replacements are manufactured to the same testing standards as the OEM's.

I bought these based on another review where the user shows his meter with a reading of 16 using these filters and says his tap water is 383. I have a good quality meter and measured tap at 205, but still get a whopping 200 with these filters. I tried two out of the three pack and ran a couple of gallons thru each one first. Same reading with each filter.I originally left 1 star rating since meter reading didn't really change using these. But then I figured I would at least taste it, and glad I did because it is great! Then I read the description closer along with the testing standards, and the filter is supposed to allow desirable minerals thru, which it does. Even my 10 yo commented without any prompting that the water tastes good again. So revised rating to 5 stars.

I just installed my new water filter and I'm presently very happy with it. The instructions for removing the old one and replacing it with the new one are very clear and simple. The whole process was a "piece of cake" and took me approximately 10 minutes to accomplish. Although they say you should replace the filter every 6 months, I'll be changing mine every 4 months. What the Hell! I bought the 3 pack and that will last me the whole year! If any problems arise (which I don't think will) I'll update my review. At this point, I highly recommend these filters.

The product looks good, like the original manufacturer's, and apparently will perform as well. But, I must take its quality on faith or, perhaps, taste of the water. I cannot measure its effectiveness in removing contaminants from the water. Only the clarity and taste of the water will determine my satisfaction with the product's performance. It's too soon to tell, since I only installed the product this week. Perhaps as the filter nears the end of its projected life, I'll know more about its effectiveness.

Decided to try these filters because they were slightly cheaper than the other filters we had purchased, nothing wrong with the other filters. Well the water that comes out of the fridge with this filters now has a slightly funny smell to it, kind of smells ever so slightly of Urine actually. I will not purchase again and will be tossing the other 2 filters. I'll go back to the other brand I previously bought for a few bucks more.

Stalls for a second before the water starts, and has almost always *pause - start - stop - start* when dispensing. First filter lasted several months. Second slowed to a trickle after a few months. Third tasted awful after just a couple of months. So I got a mediocre year's use out of a year and a half supply of filters. Too bad.

The first filter I installed seemed to work similar enough to the name brand filters I usually buy. The second however must have been defective. Water dispensed decreased in pressure to the point I I knew something was wrong. In two weeks I removed the filter 2 times and reset it. Today the water was so pressurized at the filter that it was dripping, after I removed it water squirted from the valve so much that I had to place a glass. That can't have been good for my refrigerator water line! I removed that filter and placed another. Not such a value as it seemed. Hopefully it won't happen again, but I'm going to keep a close eye on it. Guess I'll go back to the name brand. Such a shame and a waste.
