How will she escape the evil powers of the old stone house that still want to get rid of her?Spellbound is a wonderful book that gives the reader a lot of suspense. It also is very humorous and I sometimes find myself laughing out loud when I read. I give this book a five out of five stars and recommend it to anyone that likes magic and fun.P.S. This book would be easier to understand if you have read the first book " The Shadows" that is also as good as the first. I can't wait to read the third volume!

My11 year old son loved this series. He has read them all now, and they are one of his favorites!

I own all three of the Book of Elsewhere series and will definitely be back for more when the fourth is released.Spellbound: Volume 2The heroine, Olive - an ordinary, yet extraordinary girl - is back in Spellbound with more fun and growing suspense. Morton is still stuck in Elsewhere. When Rutherford mentions a Grimoire. Olive believes that it will help her to rescue her fried. The opposite thing happens when Olive becomes obsessed with the book not letting it out of her sight. The house is alive- and looking to get rid of her - permanently. What happens next? You'll just have to find out.

I loved the 1st book sooooo much. & while I loved almost everything in this 1 as well, the MC Olive completely turned into a character who annoyed me to no end. She became reckless, selfish, irresponsible, etc. She refuses to listen to any reason of any kind. The ones she knows she can trust-she lies to, uses, & even hurts them. She has no character growth at all. I'm shocked at how I went from loving her to not being able to stand her this book. Morton is still bratty & rude..& ungrateful can be added to that as well. I loved the addition of Rutherford's character. I absolutely adore him & his grandmother Ms. Dewey. Still love the cats so much as well. Besides Olive (& Morton) I loved this. So creepy, chilling, imaginative, with gothic vibes, & more. Another BEAUTIFUL cover by Poly Bernatene with the most stunning illustrations sprinkled throughout as well.💜

My daughter suggested I read this book since my 10 year old granddaughter is reading this series. They live out of state and this would give 'us' a chance to email our 'conversation' about this series. I am extremely hard of hearing so rely on email. I found this to be a very interesting and just the right book for us. I love myteries and now I can chat with Kira and share my interest in mysteries with her at her level.

I had to read this book for a children's literature class. I had reservations about it as it is not a genre I would normally read but once I started reading it was quite painless as the book was engaging enough that I found myself enjoying it. My children also enjoyed it as they read it after me.

The price of this item is 350.00 but i was charged 874.00. Am i fooled?
