Serious short CAM boot
I had major forefoot reconstruction 2 months ago and was in a mid CAM boot until my surgeon told me I could be full weight-bearing and in regular shoes. Transition to street shoes was very painful for my foot without the support I had come to depend on from the CAM boot. As an interim support device, I got this short CAM boot and it is perfect for my current stage of recovery. I use it when I have to walk long distances for errands, when I walk for exercise, and when my foot is swollen and painful from walking on uneven or unpaved surfaces. I try not to wear it all the time but when I do, my foot gets a real chance to rest while still partially weight bearing. It is much lighter than the mid boot and a lot easier to maneuver around in. It gives you just as much ankle fixation and stability as the mid CAM boot height. Its lightness is its biggest advantage, plus I love the inflatable liner. Velcro on all the straps and liner are super sticky and durable. It’s like walking in a 360 pillow. Love this boot for this transition to regular street wear shoes.

ER was ripping us off……
Son rushed to ER. X-rays taken and of course fractured and chip. Crutches and a walking boot recommended. Had crutches at home but he was being charged $400 for a walking boot. Of course he declined walking boot. We got home and looked on Amazon and found this one. A lot cheaper and it worked wonderfully. It was just as good as what he would have gotten from hospital just the brand. He wore it and he said it was easy, comfortable and adjustable.

Relieved pain in the foot and helped me walk!
I had a surgery on my Achilles and I was in a boot for over a month. I did not like the boot I had so I purchased this one and it’s much more comfortable. It’s easy to put on, relieves pain on the heel and easy to take off. My only issue is the pumping, you have to figure out a good way to pump because if you don’t, it will take forever to inflate. Besides that, product is comfortable and great!

Perfect for recovery
I bought this orthopedic boot for my husband while he was recovering from his cast, and it has been very comfortable for him. It provides great support and allows him to walk much more easily without pain. The fit is secure, and it has made his recovery much more manageable. We are very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Comfortable and supportive
I recently had neuroma surgery on my foot and bought this because I found that the AirCast was uncomfortable and lacked a strap at the ankle (the middle strap in the picture). The outer cover of the AirCast dug into my ankle and caused a lot of pain. I switched to this product and was very happy I did. Others complain about the lack of a cover, but I see no need for one. It's not like I'm going to take a walk in the snow or rain! This product really helped with my recovery and was very comfortable. I'd recommend it without reservation.

Good value solid product
Sprained or fractured my ankle and foot. Self diagnosed though. But this boot is great the pump provides the support in your leg and ankle area. Had a fishing trip already planned and brought this around everywhere. Easy on and off for airport tsa super heros, and when seated and taken off to back on the go takes maybe 1 min. If you need a little more support pay the 5 dollar for the one that goes to your knee. Good product though

As happy as you can be with a stress fracture!
Thank you to other reviewers who gave information that helped me decide to bring this boot into my life. It is helping me heal and giving me peace of mind during the process. Most helpful was the personal reports on sizing. I am a woman who has size 11 shoes but buys running shoes a size up, either womens 11.5 or mens size 10. I have never considered myself a medium in anything! So I was tending to size large, which seemed a good idea based on most reviews. I am glad I went with the size large boot. Actually it fits just how I would like, not too bit nor too small. My toes do not stick out the front of the boot but they are coming to the edge of the inner soft wrap portion, which is comfortable.I have a stress fracture from running. It is on the inside ankle of my left foot. The first week, I had a lot of pain and some swelling, so I worried the boot would be too painful to wear if it touched the ankle at all. I put the cushioned inner wrap on extremely carefully and not very tightly. I was able to put the outer shell of the boot on without pain. Although I had very limited mobility the first week, to avoid pain, I felt the immobilization feature immediately started helping my ankle bone by reducing strain on it. My foot also felt protected. I felt less anxiety because my foot was enclosed in this giant pillow and protective boot. The boot inflation aspect seemed a mystery to me but reviews on the non-inflated variety of boot suggested some people wished they had gotten this version. My boot came with some inflation already happening. I deflated it gently to first fit it to my foot. I'd say I have not inflated it very tightly anyway. I just added enough inflation to cushion and stabilize my heel, so that there is limited movement of my foot within the boot.As for this being a "walking boot," that isn't as easy as it looks. I needed crutches to support movement. I guess you can walk on it as you recover more - or maybe it depends on the person and the injury. The boot is heavier than a snow boot but I didn't have expectations on this issue. I chose not to sleep in it, but wore it during the day for weeks.Overall I am super pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to people who think it will give them a better way to heal a stress fracture. I had a stress fracture 14 years ago and cannot understand why the doctor did not suggest a boot straight away. I don't see any down side. Ending pain and getting your weight off your injured foot is a sure way to assist healing.

You may not get the size you ask for.
I have bought 12 of these. One thing I dislike is the price goes from $39.00 to $52.00. The boots are never the same and I think they get miss labeled. Typically the medium boot insert comes over the hard shell by about 2 inches. 2 times I got boots that come under the shell or the inflater/ deflater comes just above the shell. Its like they changed the way the boot has been made. The velcro at first is useful after about a month it is not useful. Than they want to sell you a new insert for 26.00 to 36.00. This boot was to be a medium in size and my foot typically come in around an inch from the edge. However my foot hung over the edge with this boot so I know it was a small. I sadly havd had to wear these boots for 11 years due to a foot condition. These are often comfortable when they are properly made and they deliver the correct size. They are slick and dont work well in the snow or with ice. The first photo is this one that was delivered and small. The second photo shows the boot in medium im replacing a medium, this boot is recieved which is clearly smaller and a size small but they called it a medium and the third is the replacement boot they just sent me which is a medium. You can see clear differences.
