Noble Collection - Harry Potter - Hermione's Time Turner

I already have a keychain of this (the Wizarding World one) that I use as a keychain, though would work as a necklace. It is larger, but less detailed, and has a plastic center instead of glass. If you want a durable Time Turner that you can wear whenever, that is the route I'd go.That being said, I have coveted this official one for years and with my Christmas Amazon Gift Card I finally got it.It is smaller than I expected, though if I'd read the specs closer I'd have known. I think it is closer to the movie size (can't remember offhand the size). The details are all really nice, which is why I wanted it (the keychain one is very nice, but it doesn't have the same level of details). The box is also great, and I keep it in that. I'm not sure if I'll ever really wear it for fear of it breaking, as I see many low ratings are because it has broken. It is a collectible and made of glass, so only so much of the blame can go to the manufacturers. It isn't intended for hard wear. The chain is fairly short, so I don't think it would be easy to bang it against anything (I have the 2013 one, not the old one - that one may have had a longer chain, I don't know though).Overall, for a collectible it is fine and I am very happy with it. It is very pretty and nicely detailed. I don't have issues with the quality that some people have (I saw some people saying it was very cheaply made and so on), but then I think that may be people wanting to wear it as jewelry regularly. I plan to keep it in the case, so visually it looks great. Even physically the construction is nice. The only 'issue' I had with it was the writing is painted on or something instead of an imprinted or carved like in the movie. Not sure the font is the same I remember from the movie, either, but it has been a while since I've seen it, so that may just be my memory. Aside from that, I have no problems with it.

Okay, this is something every Harry Potter fan needs, a lot of people are saying that it breaks easily and things like that, but it's really how you use it. The little knobs at the side do turn the rings in the middle, but they also unscrew the entire system if turned a certain way. Another thing is, the way you turn them will either tighten the device to the point of not being able to turn and the rings will stay ridged too, or they will loosen the device and make the rings turn similar to the movie, but, the device comes apart. It really is more of a decoration piece but I have worn it out without any problems, it's fun to have and show off, but you can't really expect to use it as a fidgeting tool because the device will either come apart, or not move at all. I suggest keeping the rings tight and just wearing it like a charm, this way you can still enjoy wearing it but the necklace won't break. The box is nice, it's obviously a little less of a value than it could be but honestly, it's still really nice. Even the ugliest of materials can look nice if used in the right way, people need to remember that sometimes.

My 9 yeat old grandson picked this out for his mother. She absolutely loves it. It comes with a cute box.

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She is a huge Harry Potter fan, or more correct, a HUGE Hermione Grainger fan, and she has been wanting one of these for years. This is a very nice official licensed product and shows its quality. There are many replicas out there, but this is the nicest quality I've seen. It's more expensive, but you get what you pay for in this situation.

I honestly thought this item would be larger, but my daughter is a HUGE HARRY POTTER FAN and SHE LOVES IT!!! I think she was really more surprised that I thought of this for her birthday than she was about the size of the gift... It is a great addition to her collection and she can wear it as a necklace if she chooses to do so....

Yes love ... noble collection Time Turner the real thing. Not like the other cheap junk. I Waited long time to buy. so happy with this purchase. Arrived quickly. love it, knobs actually spin time turner, display case perfect. I don't know why I waited so long. Must have for any Harry Potter fan.

/wife takes over Amazon for a bit/1. In general I love the necklace. I'm a big HP geek and my husband got this for me as a Christmas present the first year we were together. I get a lot of compliments on it, a lot of "that looks familiar..--OOH"s on it, and it's one of my favorite pieces. Mine has a little tarnish on the chain from 2+ years of wear at this point (you can kind of tell in the picture, it's lost a little bit of the shine) but it's holding up overall very well. The hourglass still rotates fully, and there's no damage to the text around the rings outside of a few marks in the paint around the edge.2. About a year ago I was playing with the necklace and very stupidly twisted the outer knobs. (Tip: don't do that.) Ever since they've been more loose than they had been originally, but manageable. Today I realized one of them was missing, which...given the fact that this is a sentimental piece for me, is kind of a big deal. Husband suggested I email the Noble Collection to see if they'll send out a new knob...and to my absolute surprise after confirming the authenticity of the piece they said they would just send out a full replacement necklace. 10/10 excellent customer service from The Noble Collection.We've now bought two cheaper replicas for my older stepson to give to his girlfriend-- each was around $10 I believe-- and while they look alright out of the box there's a marked difference between those and mine. And the first one obviously had to be replaced, out of pocket. Definitely would recommend going for one from the Noble Collection, for anyone who wants it as a display piece or for older fans of the series-- though I've been careful and mine's held up, I can definitely see how this would not be something you would want to give to a child.
