Works well but easy bends out of shape

This is a great little unit. I wish I could give it 4.5/5. My only gripe is there's no indicator on the unit that tells you how charged it is. No blinking light when you charge it. Other than that, happy with the purchase!

I take a sleep medicine that had me eating in the middle of the night. I was so mad when I woke up and it was doing terrible things for my diet! I looked for refrigerated lockboxes to no avail. Well, what I found was small and would not hold what I needed Then I found this beautiful lock with its extension cable, which which I can wrap around the handles to the refrigerator and it works perfectly! I put snacks inside the refrigerator and you can set it by the minute by the hour or by the day and it is not possible to open it before the time is up! My son bought one as well to lock up his computer and cell phone phone so he doesn’t use it at night! The only thing I could think of that would be an improvement is the extension cable should be a thicker chain . I am not stupid enough to cut through the cable and waste my money, but I could see some people who could be more desperate would do so and I’m pretty sure you could cut through this cable pretty easily! For my needs, it’s absolutely perfect. It’s digital and requires charging by USB, but that’s not at all a problem for me — when I take it off the refrigerator in the morning I plug it in and then I take it off the charger at night to use it. I have not tested how long it last without being charged because it’s not a problem for me to charge daily! When the time is up, the lock literally pops open!

The other cheap plastic ones will break after a few uses, mine luckily failed in the open position and would not lock. I went out of my way finding one with a different design since most of them seem to use the same crappy chinese mechanism and controls. This one struck me as being totally different, and is! I have used it about a dozen times now for various applications and it has never failed to lock or open when it is supposed to. It is an an-metal design so the durability is way above the other cheaper plastic body ones. You can set up to a 99 day lock on this timer, I didn't see that in the description.
