High Rise: The Complete Collection

I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've read of this brilliant authoress! I often have a Harperfest and it took me just over eightenn hours, reading non-stop, to get through these. I couldn't put my kindle down! The characters are a fantastic group of women who I would have loved to know when I was younger.The way Harper describes the intimate scenes really takes me back to when I was a young dyke!Just keep them coming off the press, Harper, and I'll keep reading!

I had to read this book after I heard a recent interview that Harper had. I was so pleased that I had bought it. I have read the author's other novellas which are part of a collection but this was really different as I was brought through the characters growth and their loves and losses.As the author lives in Hong Kong and the book is based there you can see how much she loves the Island and surrounding area. It makes you feel as though you are there and if I could I would certainly go there for a holiday. I loved the Dragon's Rock and the description of the views of Hong Kong.You could really believe in the characters as they truly loved each other as friends and later partners. I loved the way that they gave each other nick names and confided in each other.This book wa hot and steamy with a very good story line which flowed perfectly. A real lovely book

Wow, this is one very Hot set of books. Basically it revolves around a number of lesbians who are unattached and live in the same "high rise" called The Ivy. There is some drama and unhappiness but that's not how it ends. Buy it, read it, you won't be sorry.

Rounded,complete characters that I find myself rooting for. No idea what Hong Kong is like but I certainly got a flavour of the life style of ex pats & born there. The back stories of how women got there added to the story & the webs woven all allowed for a happy ending. As ever the journey was very enjoyable

I have read loads of free erotic books on Kindle but High Rise (Part 1) was the first that compelled me to pay up to read more to see how the chemistry between all the characters developed. It's great to read an erotic novel where the emphasis isn't purely on the sexual relationship which to be honest are 2-a-penny these days. It's a great story which you will find hard to put down.Yes I'm a bloke reading a novel meant for girls only but as the author has said to me that she "greatly appreciates how much the other sex can enjoy my 'girls only' books. ;-)".Read Regann's review on Amazon.com as I agree with every word of hers. Highly recommended read with a story line you can easily fall into. Just like I'd imagine a well put together cafe latte at The Bean, providing multi layered depth of emotion with the right amount out steam, easy to digest and leaving you wanting more.....When's the next instalment Harper?

If you are looking for a great story mixed with some great erotic sex scenes then this is the book for you - buying the whole collection makes sense because after book one you will be hooked on the characters and their stories. This is essentially about two couples and their journey and the sex they have along the way - very well written with some great dialogue - well worth the money - buy and read it with your girlfriend it wont disappoint.

So hot...

I never read reviews of Harper's books because I know that no matter the content I will love her writing. This book is just a great read like the rest of her books. They allow me to live my "secret" life in ---well, secret! I say secret because I really am an old thing that has been married to my husband for nearly 53 years (and I really do love him) but who understands a woman like another woman. This book just took me where I wanted it to go. Love, lust and reality! Never disappointed in anything HB writes. Reminds us all that age really is just a meaningless number!
