Searching for a handy art supply container was very difficult. The ones I found were not user friendly at all. If they were large enough to hold all of my pencils, extra lead, blenders, sharpeners, etc, it was impossible to locate the items when needed and the pencil lead would come off on the erasers, etc. With this handy container, all of my sharpeners, erasers, blenders, go in the top compartment, and the pencils go in the bottom. No more rummaging through too much stuff to grab a blender or eraser! The size is perfect. The latches hold tightly. The latches seem like, overtime, they could fail, but I can't think of a better latch for the incredibly reasonable price, and they could last forever. I give this item a glowing review. I'm a perfectionist and sensitive to function and user friendly products, so great job to the designer on this one! 5 stars for sure!

Sturdy, versatile and nice color choices!I love the top compartment that can hold two sticky notes pad separate from the bottom compartment where I put my colored pencils, pens and dry erase markers. I bought one for the classroom and one to keep at home!Great value for the price.

I thought having a little bit of extra space within the lid would be convenient. But the box is too shallow, once I put his markers & crayons inside of the box, I can’t fit his glue sticks in the pencil box. Top of the box can only fit erasers & scissors. But it’s a durable pencil box overall.

Pretty color, closes tightly, good quality

It’s a great case, holds all my extra pens and pencils and the various leads and erasers I have. Good solid design as well. I have a lot of mechanical pencils and leads that I got this to store them.

Our 1st grader wanted a “double shelf” pencil box to organize his things like a few of his classmates. The top shelf opens from the top & drops down into the main compartment space. You can fit one layer of the thicker crayola markers in the top - it’s not super deep. No issues opening either compartment by our child.

The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately the lid of the top compartment doesn’t snap close properly and it’s completely lose (does not lock), so not useful if you’re carrying in a backpack for example, as it’ll easily open and stuff from inside will come out. Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that, but I assume it should lock properly.
