CricutJoy | Starter Bundle (2024)

Absolutely brilliant wee machine. I wanted it for designing my own stencils for gel printing and it didn’t disappoint. It took only a few failed attempts to figure out the settings and then I was good to go. Had it mastered and set up in about 30 mins. I am very confident with technology though but if you just click settings to see what they do then you’ll figure it out. Plus there is online help galore - if you look for it. I am using yupo paper on the standard mat which comes with the machine and have it set on ‘stencil vinyl’ and it works just fine - see attached. The paler shape is what it cut from the black shape I fed it. I plan on making pretty intricate stencils so this will save me getting out my scalpel and going nuts! I have the trial subscription for their designs but might cancel that later. I know others have struggled with this machine but that wasn’t my experience.

A great product, takes abit of getting used to but it’s so handy to have! Perfect size for if you don’t have loads of desk space and want to do little projects!

Having gotten into crafting late in life I thought I'd take the plunge and get the Cricut joy, it's fantastic and straightforward to use and great for beginners. You can access Cricut design space where there are hundreds of thousands of projects to work on. I started with some mothers Day cards and a wedding invite. I'll be upgrading to the maker soon as it does more but this is the perfect start for anyone who wants to get into crafting, it comes with everything you need including some sample pieces of vinyl to use, and it's quick and easy to set up, can be used over Bluetooth and can use Cricut joy app and design space on both IOS and Android. one of the biggest things that attracted me to the joy is how small it is, it takes up little room .

Reason for the 1 star less is simply because the tools advertised are not exactly what you recive. Apart from that I love this Cricut its easy to use and as a beginner I am so excited with this. My PC didn't like it as first however after a looonnnggg wait for it to decide to play nice my Cricut was up and running. I don't like the fact you more or less have to pay for a subscription which is expensive but if you're into resin it will probably pay off with your sales.It's addictive and highly recommend

I had wanted a Cricut for years but didn’t really have the room (or the time) for one. When the Cricut Joy came out I knew I had to have it. It was still a bit pricey (as are the materials you use for it) but when I saw it on Amazon with £40 off the usual price I snapped it up.It doesn’t come with instructions, very odd, and most of the YouTube videos and Facebook groups are very American. This means that when you are looking for images, sayings etc to print there are some that don’t mean anything to Brits. Lots on Thanksgiving for example. However you can write your own and the Facebook groups are very friendly and helpful plus there are lots of people giving tutorials.I enjoy lots of different crafts and having the Cricut will enhance my crafting experience. I can’t believe how much this little machine can do!

I love my Cricut! Having seen these on social media I was interested in giving them a go. After some research I opted to for the joy as a beginner as it seemed easy to store, cheaper and user friendly. I can say it has met all my expectations. The Cricut joy app is easy to use and means I can instantly create basic labels, stickers and paper crafts. The starter set came with everything I needed to experiment. The only disappointment is that you may to pay for Cricut joy subscription after a month - for now I have decided to just make all my own designs.
