Love my dental pod. So easy and convenient to use, I wake up in the morning, throw in a tablet for fresher breath and then my aligners and they come out squarely clean. All this is done as I am getting ready for my day, saves me so much time and is hassle free. In the long run it’s also cheaper than using more tooth paste just to brush the aligners.

I just used the Zima Dental Pod (Rose Pink) for the first time after purchasing it on Friday night April 24, 2025. I’m in Texas where the San Antonio area and its surrounding cities are known for having hard water. Smart people will bite the cost and invest in a water softener system. Even with using soft water, just soaking my Invisalign retainer trays with the cleaning crystals in my sink, they are clean but not sparkling.The Zima Dental POD is a little boiling machine and my retainers sparkle and look brand new. It’s very quiet and I lifted the top to glance at it in cycle. There’s a light boil really going on in there! It’s very small and takes up a little space on your vanity. The price packs a hefty punch (you might think) to be so small but my goodness it’s worth it if you obviously care about your teeth. Those of us who live at the dentist can spend hundreds or thousands annually. So, $108.24 after tax is worth it and is actually pocket change. I’m 50 years old and get my teeth cleaned four times a year (every three months). I still have all 32 of my REAL teeth and plan to take them to my grave no time soon Heavenly Father! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾The pictures I attached shows an unused, new package of Invisalign retainer trays on the left and my nightly trays I’m using on the right! Then there’s the picture of my retainers by themselves with pictures of the cute pod! You can’t tell them apart in the package or out of it! The crystals smell amazing and give off a nice aroma scent. The on/off button is barely noticeable and it takes a soft tap to activate the pod. It doesn’t need to be man-handled or roughly prodded. Time will tell how long it functions well or lasts. This is a must have device for your oral devices that needs cleaning. Five stars and a customer for life here!It’s so easy to use, I can actually clean mine nightly but it’s not necessary; but I will! I just need to pop my retainers in the pod, add the cleaning crystals, and go through my nightly ritual! Floss between all of my teeth, brush my teeth, gums, palate and tongue for two minutes, gargle one minute with Act, and gargle one minute with Listerine! Now, I can grab my retainers, rinse them off and pop them in my mouth. Unplug the pod, pour out the water, and gently use a soap and watered small rag to wipe the inside clean. Repeat with just a water rinsed only rag and put it in it’s kept place! Do not get the plug or reciprocal area of the pod wet! Now buy one! Bye!

I wear an upper & lower plastic retainers at night that I remove during the day. They get nasty pretty fast with stains and soaking up smells. I tried cheap Efferdent tabs for about 6 months. They didn't make a single difference. I had studied up on Zima cleaning pods. The price has dropped significantly since they were first introduced. The pod is a little larger than a coffee cup so it fits well anywhere. There are markings inside the pod to fill with cold, tap water. Drop in a ultrasonic sterilizing tablet (even though it's not necessary), drop in your appliances, and press the "power" button. In 5 minutes, it turns off automatically. My retainers were like new!!! All the year's worth of stains were gone and the tablet had a great refreshing, minty taste. I'm very impressed with the quality and functionality of the Zima dental pod. You just pour out the water and get ready to use it any and every night you want to. The pod is small enough that it's easy to travel with! PLEASE don't waste your money on the cheaper versions; they do function differently and I decided not to take a chance. I am so please with my Zima Dental Pod! Wish I had gotten one earlier. I was embarrassed laying my stained retainers near the sink! 5+ Stars!

I was hesitant upon purchasing this based off the price and seeing additional cheaper options that serve the same purpose. Though I opted for this one since there is a company whom specializes this product and backs it, which gave me more confidence in purchasing. I was able to find more information about the product, and could see myself getting more longevity from the dental pod. I did not want a big or cheap looking product and upon arrival I was very pleased with this. It looks great and I do not think the matte finish will scratch. The operation is simple and cleanup is just as simple. Upon effectiveness, I am not totally sure yet since I have only had my product for less than a week and my retainers, though clean, have heavy stains. However, I do think this has made a difference and very much think that it is worth the investment. The included tabs are very effective, but seem more soapy than the tabs I previously used, in addition to leaving a very slight aftertaste even after a good rinse. I will likely be using that tabs previously used with this product and see if that makes a difference. Also the cost of the included tabs are relatively expensive for an everyday use. I am not rating four stars for that reason though, I simply have not had the product long enough to comfortably say my stains will completely vanish. Overall, I think this is a very worthwhile purchase and recommend to anyone considering this type of purchase to go with the dental pod.
