These are one of those 'Why didn't someone think of that years ago' items Small, neat, simple and work a treat. Totally recommended, you will be delighted not having to rewire to fit different bulbs.

Overall the build quality of these are "ok". Due to the room limitations of how substantial they could be, and still fit an SES bulb, they are pretty good. But I have found them easier to fit my first fitting the SES bulb to the adaptor and then fitting the whole unit into the bayonet connector of the lamp / light fitting you are using. But do not overtighten either the bulb when fitting into the adaptor or when twisting the bulb and adaptor into the light fitting. There is a lot of plastic that isn't too thick and it will be possible to break these. From what I measured they ad just less than 2cm to the overall height of the bulb from the base of the fitting. For us that didn't matter. Overall we are very happy with these adaptors, just be careful when using them that you do not overtighten the bulb. They work well and seem firm enough to not cause an issue. I would recommend them. These work fine but the quality is pretty poor, it's obvious that not much care was taken in the manufacturing process, one of them looked outright grubby and they both aren't straight so the bulb ends up protruding at an angle rather than pointing straight down, but having said that they work just fine and if you're using a lightshade of any kind then it's probably not an issue at all, unfortunately for me that's not an option right now... In all honesty I wasn't actually expecting much for the price so that's why I gave it 4 stars, it does exactly what I wanted it to do and at the end of the day that's good enough for me, what I can't deal with is the evident sloppy manufacturing and lack of care, but still, at this price you can't complain too much I guess 🤣

Perfect solution for using newer led G45 lamps in old BC fittings. Compact design which only adds about 20mm to the overall length of the bulb. Recommend

Adattatore portalampada, perfetto per le mie esigenze, funziona a meraviglia. Il prezzo tutto sommato è altino, ma meglio che sostituire il portalampada!

Ces adaptateurs sont pratiques en soit. Mais ils ont beaucoup de jeu dans mes douilles ce qui fait qu'une fois installée, l'ampoule penche d'un côté.... Ça n'est pas très esthétique ! De plus, les douilles sont arrivées assez "sales". J'ai dû frotter vigoureusement avec un chiffon microfibre pour parvenir à enlever les résidus un peu poisseux qu'il y avait tout autour, mais aussi sur les contacteurs en dessous des douilles ! Pas très soigneux tout ça... mais ça fonctionne.
