DJI RS 4, Gimbal Stabilizer for Camera, Canon/Sony/Nikon/Fujifilm

I’ve been using the DJI RS4 for a few weeks now, and honestly, I can’t imagine going back to handheld shooting without it. The first thing I noticed was how solid and well-built it feels — sturdy but still light enough to carry around all day. Setup was super straightforward, and balancing my camera took just a few minutes (which is saying a lot compared to some older gimbals I’ve tried!). The stabilisation is just unreal — even when walking or doing quick pans, the footage comes out buttery smooth. The battery life is great too; I’ve done full shooting days without worrying about recharging. I also love how seamlessly it connects with my camera for start/stop recording and focus control — it really makes the whole process feel professional without being complicated. I’ve used it for travel videos, little creative projects, and even some paid gigs — it’s handled everything perfectly. It just gives that cinematic look straight out of the camera with minimal effort. If you’re on the fence, trust me — the RS4 is worth every penny. It’s reliable, smartly designed, and makes shooting so much more enjoyable.

Works perfect, doing the job

I had an rs4 mini before and I swapped for an RS4. It was a great decision. Build quality is amazing. I'm using it mainly with my Sony a7iv and 24-70 2.8 gm ii. With can handle it easily. Weight is great. Slightly heavier than rs4 mini but with a bigger payload. You can still attach AI tracking mode if you need. A battery life is a big plus and you can easily swap it for new one if you need it. Another great product from DJI, great value for money.

Love it - serves its purpose perfectly

A very sturdy and reliable gimbal. Pros: - easy to balance (due to new teflon coating on the arms) - relatively easy to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting (re-balancing is needed unfortunately) - replaceable battery - can take a heavy camera set up, e.g. lumix s5iix / fx3 + ~900g lens + cage + Rode VideoMic Ntg + VND filter - supports Active Track natively with Lumix S5iix camera via USB-C cable - good integration with DJI Ronin App (very use to use) cons: - price (a little expensive) - the briefcase handle just should be included as standard

Dji RS4 stabiliser probably the best on the market, top quality, easy to use, long battery life, and big capacity to hold my 2.8kg camera+lense. A bit expensive but very reliable

I love using the gimbal for my shoots, just remember they're a tool and still requires a "ninja walk" for the best results. This one packs down and fits in my backpack nicely as the handle detaches from the motors.

Woeful product. Not even used it once!!! Balanced it perfectly, on screen says everything is spot on.....I started to use it, but it had a massive failure.All locked up, and the app is no longer connected to the gimbal. Would not recommend...Trying to get support is a nightmare.

Now i can get away with the smaller one. Which is great because it’s almost as powerful and it saves me a bunch of weight and money.

È il primo che compro , per la mia Sony a7CII, prima l'unico gimbal che usavo era per il telefonino. Questo è favoloso, pesa ma cosa potevo aspettarmi. Premetto che ho preso quello "RONIN RS4" base €559, la qualità prezzo prodotto, che resta comunque una fascia alta di qualità, posso dire che non costa eccessivamente. Però per €559 potevano almeno mettere nella spesa una borsa per trasportarlo, questo devo dire che la DJI mi ha deluso. Partiamo dall'aspetto delle prestazioni, dopo aver scaricato il manuale, sono riuscito con facilità a regolare i parametri degli assi, con calma e qualche oretta tutto si riesce a fare. Regge bene la fotocamera e la sua ottica. Monto sopra una Sony a7CII con l'ottica 24-105 f/4 che non è per niente leggera, il RONIN regge tutto il peso senza problemi. La batteria standard BG21 mi dura 12 ore, da parte poter anche acquistare la BG70 che dura 29 ore, valuterò in futuro se prenderla, ovviamente più è grande la batteria e più peso devi portare, considerate anche questo aspetto, penso che se dovessi prendere un'altra batteria prenderei la BG21, è perfetta anche per l'impugnatura della mia mano. Il display è facile da leggere è un OLED a colori da 1,8", perfetto. Tramite Bluetooth subito sono riuscito a collegar era fotocamera e utilizzo i tasti del RONIN per gestire la fotocamera, foto e video. È divertente realizzare video con questo RS4 vedi tutto da una prospettiva diversa riesci a realizzare dei video più fluidi. Io lo ritengo un valido acquisto, ne sono soddisfatto, peccato non averlo preso prima.

I bought this as it was 50% off. I took it out of the box and attached the handle. With the handle attached I turned it sideways and the top just fell off. Luckily I didn’t have my camera on it. The locking latch was faulty and surprisingly flimsy. I didn’t even bother to set it up fully as there was no point. I returned it 10 days ago but still haven’t received any acknowledgment that I have done so.
