Of course this isn't Return To Forever - it is Vertú! The compositions on this work is on par with RTF. But this is a different era. Stanley's input here is clearly evident. Lenny White is phenominal. Karen, oh man, she starts fires.This CD is the best Fusion that has been released in a decade since Al Di Meola's Kiss My Axe. Essential for any Fusion-head. On my top ten - a no brainer.

I simply wouldn't pay any attention to the people that gave this one star. I couldn't believe it when I saw that. This is some great fusion with Lenny White and Stanley Clarke playing as well as always. It was a pleasure to see them return to this form and I would happily recommend it to anyone.

If you love Fusion from the 70's and 80's, love Return to Forever, love the style of Lenny White and Stanley Clarke, you've gotta get this one. The first time I heard this, I was browsing through CD-Now's site and stmubled upon what I thought was a "never before released RTF CD". I was amazed to find out that this was a new release from a new band that featured two of my favorite Fusion guys. Turn up the volume and remember the incredible jams of some of the greatest Jazz musicians that we've ever enjoyed!

When I saw that the 2 musicians who put the funk into Return To Forever had collaborated I didn't hesitate to jump on it. I feel like I was robbed. There was nothing close to RTF's "No Mystery" on this CD. Very little if any funk riffs. I won't be fooled again. Very, Very, disappointed.
