I participate in a free little moms' workout group at my church. Twice a week, someone in the group volunteers to lead a 45 minute class while the pre-school age kids play on the side. The class can be anything, from zumba to yoga to weight lifting, and I have to bring my own equipment for each class. And I have two toddlers who I need to entertain during the class. That means that I'm carting a LOT of stuff with me. Water bottles and yoga mats and coloring books and toy cars and snacks and dumbbells...it was getting to be a rough trip in from the car every day.I saw this bag with the yoga mat strap on the bottom, and thought it may be a good size for what I need. I was right! Here's my thoughts and observations:-The strap holds a standard thickness yoga mat--but not my super ridiculously plush one that I usually bring. That's ok. It was almost too cushy to do any kind of balancing thing on it, anyway.-I balance 5 lb, 3 lb, and 2 lb weights across the base of the bag, on top of the mat. If I didn't have a mat attached to the bag, I don't think I would try this. I don't think the fabric would hold up to all that weight by itself.-The bow has a little zipper pocket for car keys/hair ties.-There's a water bottle pocket on the side with a cinch up strap to hold it in place. My 30 oz Stanley cup won't fit (the handle is awkward), but my toddler's straight water bottle does.-Inside has a lot of space! Even with all the weights, I added a full-size coloring book, Goldfish, Cheerios, fruit snacks, toy cars, a really big fidget toy for little fingers, and some books. It still zipped up just fine!-The thing that makes me the most nervous is the big strap. It doesn't feel sturdy enough to hold everything that I put in there. It's the same material as the bag itself, doesn't have any sort of shoulder pad, and is sewn on. I think I would prefer a thicker strap. I understand that maybe weights aren't the intended cargo for this bag, but with how big this bag is, I feel like it needs something sturdier to carry all that you COULD fit inside.Overall, this bag will get lots of love. It has some imperfections, but nothing that I would consider a deal breaker. I would definitely purchase this or recommend it to a friend.

Bought this as my personal item for a trip to the Philippines. The zipper broke within the first 2 hours while waiting to board. Had to toss it once I landed and find a new bag while on the trip. Very uncomfortable strap if bag is filled and/or heavy. Won’t be repurchasing.

I got this as my sisters birthing bag. It’s very well made, gorgeous design and functional. Even the bow has a zipper to hold more things. It’s easy to clean and much larger in size than anticipated. Very pleased with this bag. It would make a great gym bag as well.
