The installation instructions are pictographic, so OK if you are an IKEA fan. Some parts are already assembled, which is a bit confusing. The screws that hold the ceiling shroud in place need to be unscrewed from the fitting before the shroud can be fitted. It is quiet. I had an AC fan before and it whined like an abandoned puppy. This DC fan is silent even on higher settings except for the sound of the air moving, which is constant and subliminal. The loud beep sound on every input from the remote has been mentioned in earlier posts. Based on this I removed the sounder from the PCB - a simple job but be aware there is an on the board resistor directly below the sounder, which you don't want to damage. The colour temperature of the light can be set from the remote so it always comes on at that setting. The dimmer works by pressing and holding the + or - button. At the 2 setting (of 6) there is a pleasant cooling breeze. 6 would probably induce hypothermia. The reverse button seems to do nothing but the fan gently slows, hesitates and then reverses direction. Overall this is an excellent ceiling fan.

Took a while to install because the existing house wiring prevented me from sliding the control unit in place. Eventually I made 2 flat spacers 7mm thick to stand off the bracket from the ceiling. This did the trick, and 30 minutes later it was up and running.I am impressed with the design. It really is high quality unit, and looks very attractive.I am also extremely impressed with how quiet it is - like totally silent at low speeds, and just slight wind noise at higher speeds. Because the motor is a brushless DC design, there is no humming or buzzing noise which would happen if it was AC mains powered.It is installed in our bedroom, and we find the lowest speed is just right most of the time, and it provides a peaceful and calming effect, conducive to sleep.The remote control is easy to use, and the fan remembers how you last set it.Initially I was disappointed that the light colour temperature could not be adjusted - there's nothing about it in the instructions, but the specifications said it was a feature.After playing with the remote - EUREKA! I found out how to do it. Just hold the light button down and repeatedly press the + or - buttons and it will cycle between the 3 colours (cool, day, and warm).Overall, this is a fabulous ceiling fan. It is attractive, whisper quiet, easy to use, and above all excellent value for money.I cannot imagine there is a better unit anywhere, and at any price. I cannot recommend it enough.

Managed to install this myself without issue. The ability to install it on an angled ceiling was brilliant. Love the remote and that it is wholly controlled by the remote. The instructions arent the clearest on how the remote works. The screws and plugs for the remote mount weren’t the best so I replaced them with something more substantial. I’ve found it to be extremely quiet in operation, obviously it does get louder the fast you have it but it’s still not loud. I do wish the light could be a little dimmer on its lowest setting but it’s not a massive issue. My only small issue with it is it beeps when you press a button on the remote, I wish you could lower the beep or maybe add an LED so you can see its receiving instructions from the remote rather than having the beep but thats a tiny issue.

The ceiling fan is fairly quiet, with 6 speeds getting gradually faster (and more wind noise) you can happily sleep and set the timer which allows you to select 1h/3h/6h intervals.We will probably never go above level 2 or 3 even in a heatwave.The light controls are a little harder to set but just takes some time to get used to and manual is a little small to read. we found the light is noisy as well, when dimmed and even when off. If you turn the light fully on and switch off then there is no buzz. But any dimming will mean the light buzzes even when off.Fitting the fan was a little fiddly as you have to feed cables through and then try to squash into the ceiling rose/cover. After a little effort all the cables were neatly hidden and looks good.Would be good could be control via a light switch controller as some others are.

Very easy to install and quiet.. moves a lot of air and will ne great in summer …please can you tell me how I can purchase a second remote please.

The media could not be loaded. Sleek design, very quiet, has two fan settings, up and down, dimmable lights with 3 colour choices fairly easy to fit, instructions ok, but you need to know what you’re doing to fit, excellent product, bought another two for other rooms!

Absolutely happy with this, it has 6 speeds and so far only needed speed 1. It is silent which is great at night.It looks good, with 3 blades not as cumbersome as some others.It has different light modes ranging from subdued to bright white, all controlled by remote control.A very good price, my best purchase in a long time. I would definitely recommend this FANtastic fan.

The fan itself has no issues, the led panel needs to be looked at by the manufacturer. The components in the led panel are cheap electronics which is causing the blinking at odd occasions due to the panel sitting on a metal plate it is causing interference which is leading to the buzzing noise. I have ended up leaving the panel loose for now. I believe longer screws may fix the issue of the buzzing noise but the light flicking at odd occasions I am not sure about. If anything the led panel will be one that needs replacing within one-two years depending on usage. Spares for the led panel would be needed going forward. Do not open the led panel yourself to replace the cheap components without discharging the capacitor first as it holds 400v unless you know what it is you are doing.
