My son is a model collector and this Hummer is a perfect replica of the real thing! It’s also heavy for a model, not lightweight and cheap feeling. Awesome collector’s item!

Loved the authenticity of the vehicle.

This is a 1:18 scale replica of the M966 HMMWV, better known as the TOW Hummer. I don't usually grab models and such but this one was a must for me. I spent a few enlistments as an Infantryman from the late 80's and a good portion of my time in service was spent driving the M966 Hardtop HMMWV. This is a near exact model of the one I drove, minus the dings, dents and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't glow plug relay.The manufacturer has done a bang up job on this model in terms of how close it is to what I drove for all those years. From what I can see they have gone down to the minute details to get this right. The doors all open/close, the hood and cargo hatch as well open/close and it has 4 wheel independent suspension allowing it to take a beating on those tanks trails but not toss everyone inside all over the place. What really gets me is that the hood has the 2 rubber strap closures and the cargo hatch has the gas shocks that prevent it from slamming down on you. The one small area I find a deviation is the gunners hatch. The hatch opens like you would expect, but they did not make it fold in half as it should, nor does it open and lie flat. As it is on the model you would not be able to use the hatch without taking a beating. Its a minor detail, but I would say an important one if you want accuracy as they have done so well with on ll the other areas. I mean they even included the lifting eyes on the engine and matching unit on the antennae.At the front of the gunners hatch is a small hole where you can mount the machinegun that comes with the model. Being that it is the M966, it would be great if they included or had available a TOW launcher as that was what this model HMMWV was generally used for.Overall this is truly a remarkable model that includes details many others gloss over. They may be minor details but they really make a difference and tell me that they maker paid attention. Being made of diecast metal, this is a durable model that will look great on your memory shelf or even if it used as a toy by the kids. One thing I think would add to the authenticity is if the front windows could be removed. In line units we often removed the windshields because they could reflect light as well made it difficult to drive at night, especially while wearing night vision goggles.At $50 this seems to be reasonable. As I grabbed it more as a reminiscence, the price was reasonable. I would think the same would be true for collectors of these types of vehicles, especially with the accuracy of the model.

This is a very solid well made vehicle. I tried to use my 1/18 joes on this vehicle but they are just little to big for this vehicle but I still can make it work. It’s prob more around a 1/20 size to 1/24 in my eyes. Still this is an amazing vehicle. Has nice weight to it since some diecast thru out it. The detail is really nice compared to other vehicles like this I e gotten that is a lot smaller then this. For the size, detail, make quality this is a really nice vehicle. It looks good with my 1/18 size joes standing next to it or sticking out the gun turret but I just can’t get them to sit in the front sit like I’d expect it to if it was a exact 1/18 scale to 1/18 gi Joe figs. The gun I had to use some blue tack to help keep it in place better. My hoke for it was a hair to big. Gun still fit in it but when moved it the gun would fall out easy so I used a little blue tack to ho,do the gun in better. Still without the blue tack the gun does stay in place but not a tight fit for movement. All and all I think this is an awesome vehicle. If a military fan or old gi Joe collector then this would look nice in your collection. Can recommend this

This 1:18 scale Hummer H1 is the first military vehicle in my die-cast collection, and while it’s not my usual style, I’m really glad I picked it up. The model is finely made, the processing is satisfactory, and the appearance is quite substantial. The material is mainly plastic, and some places are a little thin. The wheels can be turned, but they do not have remote control functions. The packaging is complete, suitable for display collection or giving to people who like military vehicle models. Overall, the performance is satisfactory, and people who do not require high details should be satisfied.

Large scale, great quality.This model hummer is larger than I expected it would be. It comes in a box with a clear plastic viewing area.The model has lots of detail and looks realistic. It has some heft to it and feels like it is made with good quality materials.I got this for my collection but it would also be good as a gift or for an older child to play with, I say older children because there are smaller parts on the hummer that may not be suitable for smaller children.This diecast Hummer is great, I'm glad I was able to get it as a product to review.In my opinion value for the money is spot on considering the quality and detail and I would recommend this product.
