Whenever I’m using my tools he always asks if he can try, so I’m especially pleased with the battery-powered drill this comes with.InstructionsThe instructions are sparse, and don’t provide instructions on how to build each car. But it does show a picture of the completed version. So a kid whose aptitude is to build things should enjoy the challenge.FunctionThe drill works like it’s supposed to, and all the pieces fit together well. You’ll need a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment for the drill. Batteries and screwdriver are not included.

Neat idea and great concept. All was going well until I tried to help my kid put on the 4th wheel. The threads were blocked by left over injection molded plastic that didn't form correctly. I can't put the last wheel on, so none of the 3 kits will work. Would be nice if batterys were included.

Our son loves this but there are no spare screws and there is no way to find contact info on this company so we had to but two just to make sure he can keep building.

I ordered this 3 in 1 STEM Take apart car with tools from the Remikingfor my grandson bc he loves doing things like this bc I feel it gives him a challenge and a sense of accomplishment when he is able to get the car put back together correctly. This car is constructed out of good quality plastic that will last a very long time. This is great for boys or girls. This car has realistic lights and sounds. You will need to buy 2 AA batteries for the drill but other than that, you are set. I do recommend buying this and trying it out! Your child will love it!

As with most stem activities sit with your kid and maybe guideor be there for support if they need help. My eldest tends to get frustrated but we were able to have a good time playing with these at 6 years old. After we figures it out she was fine to play on her own.

My 4-year-old grandson loves this kit. After a brief demonstration, he was off on his own building various combinations. His older sister wanted her turns too. Most of the parts line up and fit together easily, although some can be mis-aligned and require some extra effort to make them fit properly. The power screwdriver is a big hit. I took off one star because the switch for the lights and sound is buried deep in the model, requiring almost complete disassembly to get to it.Update: I subtracted a star after discovering that the wheels loosen and fall off when the car is rolled on the floor. Initially it was fun when all the kids did was to put it together and take it apart again, but then they wanted to play with the car after building it, and that's when the wheels fell off (literally!). Even after tightening the screws with the manual driver, they would not stay on.

My son has been playing a lot with another set of stem toys where he gets to take apart and put back together some dinosaurs.However, he's much more in love with cars than dinosaurs, so when I saw this toy available, I knew he had to have it!He's been in love with it ever since.After the first time he had successfully put them together, he commanded me to take video of him twirling each car around on display.We haven't encountered any issues with it, but you may need a miniature screw driver to remove the battery section in the twirling, faux, electric screw driver toy tool.
