After reading some of the reviews, they were both positive and negative. I had to try something to stop my dog from chewing my baseboards and doorframes... even though she had LOTS of toys to chew on. I sprayed the areas she was chewing, then she moved to the other side of the doorframe! I sprayed all the baseboards and doorframes (up to what she could reach),and have had no further issues of her chewing the wood. I've forgotten to spray a few times when I left home for work, but it seems to have done the trick and trained her not to chew those areas.

I purchased this to deter my Great Pyrenees puppy from chewing on baseboards and furniture legs. It did not work at all. Almost immediately after I sprayed it on he resumed chewing. I actually sprayed him in the face and he did not react at all. A total waste of money.

My dog doesn't have a problem the taste of this product at all. In fact she began obsessively licking the area that had been sprayed with the bitter spray

This stuff works!! I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying this stuff doesn't work but that's not the case for my pup! I have a 11 week old German Shepherd puppy who loves to chew on EVERYTHING!!! Of course shoes are his personal delicacy but he also loves rugs, furniture, cords & anything else he can get his paws on. He has a fun new game where he grabs an item he know he shouldn't have and then runs as fast as he can around the house. Other past times include chewing on furniture while staring at me.I bought this stuff to help keep me from going insane. It is extremely potent! I sprayed it on shoes and then put them on the floor so he could test it out. He picked up the shoe and immediately dropped it 😈 so far it seems to keep him off of all the usual temptations. The only downfall to this product is that it is extremely potent. It lingers in the air and you can taste it in your mouth when you breath.. it doesnt have the worst smell but it certainly isn't something I would use as an air freshener.The biggest con to this product is tasting it in the air after immediate use. The flipside of this is that I think its strong enough to where he can smell it on the items I've sprayed it on so he doesn't even try to chew them. Luckily this is just a training aid and not something you will need to use forever. To have a product gross enough to deter a puppy I suspect it will need to be as strong as this stuff. I'll take the gross after taste effect over a lifetime of ripped up shoes and furniture any day. My suggestion would be to thoroughly spray your shoes outside and let it sit for 10 minutes before bringing them back in. For furniture maybe try leaving a window open and use a face mask while spraying lol.

This product has saved our wood furniture, with our new puppy. Just spray it on and let it dry. Dogs will not chew furniture. Awesome

I've got two black labs, brother and sister, now about 11 months old. And man, do they like to chew. Anything, anywhere, all the time. There is a lot they've destroyed, including countless shoes, some favorite throw pillows, towels, blankets, a couple of books, and a lot of baseboards. They even had a go at the legs of a couple of dining room tables.We got this stuff and have applied it liberally to active chew areas...and they keep chewing. Don't know if they actually like the smell and/or taste, or if it's just not strong enough to get them to stop. All we know is that the money invested in this product was money wasted.The spray does not stain. It doesn't smell that bad going on, not at all. It's not sticky and it doesn't seep into or linger on the hands; it washes out quickly and easily.We have come to a solution for the chewing, one that is fully effective but is unlikely to get wide public commercial use: a base of WD-40 covered with hot pepper flakes and hot spices. This has proven to be fully effective on the chewing, but they just keep finding new things to chew on.Bottom Line: your results may vary, depending on your dog and his/her tastes. In our experience, this product did not work at all.

We sprayed this on a part of our couch that she was chewing on and it didn't phase her. She kept chewing on the couch. Same with the brake wires on my husbands trailer.

We have a VERY destructive Bully American Bulldog. He will eat anything in site if left unattended. Well... we HAVE to work, and we have to sleep.. Yes, he has a kennel.. but due to his recent 'cutting of the balls'... the kennel didn't work w/ his cone. So, to the back room he went to hang out with his bro when we weren't supervising his behavior. He did really well!! ... oh.. yeah.. of COURSE he did!! He had a cone on! Once the cone came off... the cabinets/ drawers/ and wall were eaten. This is actually an ongoing problem w/ this boy from day one. He's ALWAYS love to eat non dog items.. Other chew sprays have somewhat helped.. but would need to reapply after an hour.. or he's back at it.. Think - destroyed beds.. our pumpkins on the front stoop.. Anything and everything.. Bought the PRO Anti Chew Spray for dogs and puppies.. and let me tell you.. this stuff is BRILLIANT!!! I think it is seriously saving us from literally being eaten out of house and home! And yuck! I got some on my hands.. The bitter taste is TERRIBLE!! So I can see why it is helping! I don't have to reapply as much and he doesn't seem interested in the items he used to gravitate to! The customer service is fantastic.. even offering free help w/ training your pup/dog to curtail this nasty habit!HIGHLY recommend for those strong chewers in your house!!

Avevo un problema con i gatti del parco che entravano nel garage e spesso facevano i propri bisogni lasciando un cattivo odore oltre che il pavimento del garage sporco. Ed al momento, da quando ho messo questo prodotto, non ho avuto più problemi. Temevo valesse per i cani ma un mio amico lo aveva provato anche per i gatti. Ed aveva ragione.

Llevo ya varias semanas usando el producto y he conseguido que mi perro no muerda y me destroce cables y otros elementos que tenía por el salón. Los primeros días hay que usarlo casi a diario pero poco a poco se puede ir reduciendo la cantidad. Eso sí, el pulverizador no es muy bueno y parte del producto acaba en los dedos, por lo que recomiendo lavar las manos muy bien después de cada uso o te puedes llevar una sorpresa desagradable cuando comas cosas con los dedos.

Siento decir que no es imprescindible... algo evitará pero...cuando rocías un poco (2 toques de spray) en un par de zonas es molesto hasta para las personas.

Purtroppo il repellente non repelle, almeno il mio cucciolo di pastore tedesco. Ho spruzzato ampiamente lo spray nei punti (mobili, finestre, stipiti, tende) usualmente morsicati dal cane, ma lui ha continuato imperterrito a farlo come se niente fosse. Purtroppo non è cambiato assolutamente niente.
