Update:Our outdoor stray won’t use it. The opening is small and difficult for full size or larger cats to get in and out.An expensive product that looks nice, but isn’t functional for helping provide shelter to kitties needing to keep warm.Fairly easy to put together. My 17 year old did in in about an hour by himself. Design is cute and the house seems sturdy but the openings for cats to enter are smaller than they appear in the photos. Our adopted stray that lives in our backyard has gone in but only when we’ve placed him inside a few times. Overall no major complaints and it looks cute in our backyard but we’ll have to wait and see if it’s useful for our furry friend.

We have tried to air this thing out for several days because the chemical pine stench is SO HORRIBLE that you can smell it outside, on the porch, when I open my front door. There is no way a cat would be willing to sleep in this, and it's not insulated.

It was easy to assemble alone. Thankfully this box had all of the parts, instructions even though the box was tapped up like it had been returned. A wood part of the roof was cracked and broken apart. Amazon was no help, so I bought some glue to fix it and completely assembled it. It looks great, secure and water tight. Mine is with the self warming pads. This is really a great unit. But, my cats will take some time to get used to it. I have 3 cats that go inside and out. Sometimes some don't come in for the night, so I bought this so that they won't be cold outside. I love my babies and worry about them. 💕
