Star Brite Waterproofing Spray, Waterproofer + Stain Repellent + UV Protection

I have used this on my boat canvas, Lawn furniture covers and BBQ Covers. It's relatively inexpensive as compared to others I have bought. It works great.

I have a very old 9x14 tent that has seen a lot of use on Cub Scout and Boy Scout trips.After an unfortunate winter camp where the fly and walls ceased to be water resistant, I purchased this product.I set up the tent in the yard, poured the solution into a hand held pump sprayer and applied.It went on easy and and was clear where the solution had soaked into the fabric and where i had missed and could reapply.The gallon was enough for me to fully apply to the whole tent and twice on the rain fly and door. I was pretty heavy handed with it, but I wanted to ensure that I stayed dry.It does have quite a smell, so be sure to use a good mask and eye protection. You don't want to breathe it in or get any on you. Gloves are also recommended. Leave it to air dry and air out as long as you can get away with. I left mine out for 48 hours and could smell the chemicals traces when I used the tent a month later.I did a water test on the tent after it was back up and it repelled the water quite nicely! And the little bit of rain we had on the most recent camping trip shed right off.The chemicals did burn the lawn in the area that I had the tent staked, but it quickly grew, was cut, and turned green so you cannot even see it after a month. If you can use a large tarp under what you're applying it to, or apply over concrete, I would probably advise that.Easy to use, does what it claims.I'm definitely going to purchase this again for some other aging tents, tarps, and covers.

The spray mechanism was very hard to use. Needed to soak material for it to fully work so used roller hence , turned out very expensive.

What a deal when you can find great prices like I did! This is an excellent waterproofing for canvas. 2 gallons will do an entire large pavilion of 16X16 with a peaked roof. You can spray this in a pump garden sprayer. It goes on easily, drys quick enough, no long wait. All you need is a nice dry sunny day. I've used various water proofers, but this is the best deal you can get and works great.
