I am struggling to fit the rubber bungs into toilet have tried everything they just wont fit. Any ideas?

What I did was to put the whole part containing the rubber into a cup of hot water. After a short time take it out and you should find it will go in a lot easier. Take care with part after you take it out of the hot water the metal part will be very hot.

What size are the spikes on hinges? I need ones that are 1.7 mm

Go elsewhere this one feels cheap. Moves around alot

Is the lid ok to sit on.

It's a little flimsy,not really designed to sit on. If your disabled or a little old,maybe get something a bit firmer if your going to sit on lid
