Zip Ties That Could Hold Down a Hurricane
If you’re looking for zip ties that could probably secure a small planet, look no further! These extra heavy-duty zip ties are the real deal. I’m pretty sure they could hold together the universe if it ever started to unravel.I’ve used them to fix everything from a loose bumper to my neighbor’s fence—and I’m convinced they could even double as a makeshift tow rope if needed (though I wouldn’t recommend testing that theory!). These things are tough, reliable, and surprisingly easy to use for something that feels like it could restrain a rhino.Whether you’re securing cables, doing some impromptu home repairs, or just preparing for a zombie apocalypse, these zip ties will not let you down. Just be careful—once they’re on, they’re not coming off without a fight!

HUUUUUUGE!!
If you're a user of "regular" zip ties, you'll be floored by the size of these. I knew they were big, but I wasn't prepared for the actual size - they had to be folded in half in the package so it wasn't so big!The design is high-quality, with teeth on both sizes of the strap. That coupled with the extra thick plastic strap just might account for how they manage to claim a whopping 500 pounds of tensile strength.I haven't yet tried them with my standard-size zip tie tools. I wouldn't be at all surprised to discover they don't fit.If you need a large-scale tying solution that's easy to cut for removal but offers a large level of strapping force, these may just be for you. Highly recommend!

Probably Best for Commercial Use - HUGE Zip Ties
I can't vouch for whether these zip ties have 500 lbs of tensile strength but I can say they are incredibly beefy. They are huge and, had I paid closer attention to the size specs, I wouldn't have ordered them. This is not a criticism of the product. It's just that I doubt the average homeowner has much need for these long, thick and wide zip ties. They are so thick you can't cut or trim them with ordinary scissors. You'll need clippers or other heavy duty tool.I think these could be great for zip tying a load to an auto luggage rack. But for average work around the home, they are too large for many jobs. What could be better is if the plain plastic bag they came in was resealable and had a loop for hanging/storage. My bet is the average person will have this pack of zip ties on hand for years. Once you open the bag, it can't be resealed. The ties do zip and lock easily. As thick as they are, I had no trouble inserting the pointed end into the locking slot and pulling the tie to the desired length. I was unable to cut the long excess length with ordinary scissors.I can recommend these zip ties, if you are sure that you have a use for two foot, industrial sized zip ties. Otherwise, you might find these super duty zip ties to be more than you need.

These zip ties will probably outlast whatever you use these to fasten together
These zip ties are significantly beefier than flexicuffs (plastic temporary handcuffs) by a noticeable margin. They are most likely complete overkill for your day-to-day projects requiring zip ties, and are better suited for heavy duty applications such as construction and automotive. Even slipping the tie through the ratcheting head takes some effort because of the sheer bulk and tension, and cutting excess tie will require cutting pliers. These things surpass many stainless steel zip ties in terms of strength. The only downsides I see are the cost and the fact they don't have better operating temperature range. At about $0.60 per zip tie, they're quite expensive, and the only zip ties that are more expensive than these are the ones made out of more exotic material such as ETFE. But these things aren't supposed to be something you use for everyday projects. As for the temperature range, they're made out of Nylon 66, so they shares the same temperature range as any other Nylon 66 zip ties.
